Hi, I'm DamageCtrl! This is one of two pseudonyms I write fanfiction under and is generally my main one. You'll also find me using this name on DA, LJ, and AO3.

A little about me: I'm probably above the median age on this site, having been writing fanfiction and posting it on the internet for roughly 16 years, which is possibly longer than some of you have been alive. That's suddenly very depressing. I write because I have an over active imagination and occasionally get bored at work. I enjoy museums, world travel (my inner anthropologist demands getting chances to look around), various types of music, Japanese animation and manga, cartoons in general, and, of course, writing.

"The Brothers of Ba Sing Se" - [Semi-AU, Post-Series] While searching for his mother in Ba Sing Se, Zuko finds that his Uncle Iroh has hired thought-to-be-dead former rebel leader, Jet. Through a series of events, they end up teaming up to become vigilante heroes...mainly because Zuko goes as the Blue Spirit and pretty much forced Jet to also wear a mask. Join Jet, Zuko, and sometimes Sokka as they rise from the shadows of Ba Sing Se and fight crime! (Action-Adventure, will have more comedy later.) - Collab with Ebontien!!

I know it has been quite some time since I last posted anything here, but with the start of "The Legend of Korra", I got into a brainstorming session ebontien, who shared her brilliantly hilarious idea of Jet and Zuko fighting crime as sort of buddy cops. One thing lead to another and we wrote down 60 pages of their first adventure together as masked vigilantes in Ba Sing Se (a la super heroes-style...and not using any bending). We have a lot of stuff lined up for it, but are just trying to build their angsty origin story and humble beginnings first. So, I hope you guys enjoy the fic! Thanks for dropping by!

I can't keep promising I'll update "THMF" and then never doing it. From this point on, I will no longer officially be updating "Though the Heavens May Fall", regardless of how much I want to finish it. I'm very, very sorry everyone. This is the first fanfic I've posted here that I haven't completed and I'm very disappointed in myself and willpower. Should I ever update, it will probably both be here and on my AO3 account.

I plan to gradually move over my more favorite works to AO3. Please feel free to let me know if you'd like me to move over a particular one. So far, I'm working on bringing over "Shattering Ice" (the Kanna/Pakku).
