FORMERLY THE RECORD WON'T STOP!

'Ay, so, I changed my penname. I just wasn't feeling it with The Record Won't Stop. It wasn't quite a name. Well, to you, neither is Damn Expensive Eggs. Your mind is probably racing with queries as to my reasoning for this blasphemous nonsense penname. Well, to put it simply, it is a long-time inside joke with my fellow author and friend, Imajinacion Reinbou, whose works you may know amongst the South Park, Death Note and Vampire Knight fandoms. Anyway, I often introduce myself as Dee, which is short for my actual first name. Dee, soon later became an acronym for Damn Expensive Eggs.

You had to be there.

Anyway, the joke became a phenomenon among my friends and family, which was an unintended outcome from Imajinacion. Some people began to refer me as Damn Expensive Eggs, despite its length. So, I have decided to make it even more known by having it as my FanFiction penname.

Ta-da.

Well, now that you know the origin of my ridiculous penname, perhaps it's time to take up a little space on this profile page by talking about myself. I... honestly do not know how people do this. I do not know where to start. Crap.

I'll just start off by saying, hello and welcome to my page. (: You may be here because I favorited, alerted, reviewed your work or you've seen my work floating in the pit of fanfiction. Hoo-rah!

Basic things first: I am a girl residing on the East coast of the United States. I am an aspiring artist and writer, and hope to pursue a career in either of the two things. My 'art' can be seen at lackadaisikal.deviantart.com. Sooner or later, I'll get a FictionPress account and start writing some original things, but for now, I'm a fanfic person.

I currently write mainly for South Park, but... you're going to see some Death Note from me in the near future. I wanted to avoid entering the Death Note fandom (because it's huge and scary) but I've worked up the guts and have a few ideas in store. And I have to say I'm pretty excited. (:

REGARDING FOLIE A DEUX: It's not dead. I know I haven't updated since April and you all deserve to brick the shit out of me. But chapter 10 partially exists and I am working on it... very slowly. Please bear with me.
