Most people around here know me as DarkAngelTorchic or DAT. You can call me whatever you want as long as it's classy.
In reality, most people stick to Jenn.
I joined ff.net in the year of 2002, at the age of 10.
Ten years later, I am no longer a child. I'm beginning my junior year of college. I have an extended major (that I designed myself) in research in criminology and social deviance. I'm part of the honors program at school, I work about 30 hours a week and try to volunteer frequently for various events around town. I will also be beginning the research study that will be the basis for the senior thesis I will be starting soon. I hope to graduate in the fall of 2013 (which would be getting through undergrad in three years instead of four) and then begin my doctorate in the fall of 2014.
Moral of the story: I'm pretty busy.

Despite my crazy busy life, I still try to be fairly active on here, because this is often what keeps me sane. At the very least, I am beta-reading the GTSA series by Noteleks, which you should definitely read. I try to respond regularly to messages, but sometimes that doesn't happen... So sorry if it takes me awhile to get back to you.

Classes this semester: Introductory Psychology, Urban Sociology, Criminal Justice of the Past, Present and Future (also testing out of American National Government and Intro to Literature)

The stories that I wrote previous to this last summer have been removed. It's quite possible that one day they'll make a return, revised and better than ever. If not, know that you weren't missing much.
When I began writing again, I opted to give myself a clean slate as I was starting new stories as an adult, instead of tacking onto stuff I wrote when I was a kid. I think it's working out so far.

I apologize for not updating. Every single thing that could have gone wrong in this semester (from about January to now) really did go wrong. It has been a really difficult few months and I've found it hard to cope. Things are getting better. Hopefully I will be getting better at updating as well, especially considering TCatG has only got a few chapters before I begin the sequel.

The City and the Ghost (Adventure/Drama) (PG-13 for language, dark tones and violence later on)
Delaney Caldwell is the darling of Sinnoh, celebrated trainer and daughter of one of the wealthiest men in the region. When she receives an oshawott and a cryptic message right before chaos erupts in her own backyard, she has no choice but to listen to the message's desperate pleas and flee to the unknown: Unova. Not only does she have to leave behind her home and her pokemon, she has to assume a new identity and do the whole traveling thing all over again. In a place where all she has is a couple of annoying neighbors that keep popping up, a mother who left her as a child and pokemon that aren't too fond of her, the journey is just beginning.

UNNAMED TCatG SEQUEL: Yeah, despite it being so close, I don't have a name. In the interest of not spoiling the end of TCatG, I am not posting a plot, but I will give very basic details to anybody who feels they need it to complete their OC form. I will only accept 1-3 OC's- so make them good!

Name: This is pretty self-explanatory. First and last, please.
Age: Also self-explanatory.
Home region: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova. Pick one.
Appearance: Make this as detailed as possible, please.
Clothing: Again, detail is your friend.
Personality: Ideally, this is where I'd like to see the bulk of your entry. Make this as detailed as possible, flaws and all- and I don't count "not being a good singer" or "not being good at math" as flaws, just for the record.
History: Usually, this is where I like to see another big chunk of the entry, but seeing as how I'm not revealing much of plot or setting, I'm going to let it slide. That doesn't mean you can skip it, but I'm not placing as much weight on it as I usually do. If your OC is accepted, I will give you more details and then ask you to revise this (if need be) based on what you know.
