Author has written 1 story for Lord of the Flies.

Hello! I'm Dear Editor, DE, or whatever else you want to call me. I'm currently fifteen years old and living in Maryland. I don't have much writing experience besides what I learn in English class, but I want to get better and better through practice, and maybe someday publish my own novel! I would love any feedback that anyone is willing to give. It would definitely help! Right now my favorite books are Catcher in the Rye, Alice I Think, and Lord of the Flies, and my favorite shows are Samurai Champloo, Bleach, and Death Note. Please look forward to my upcoming work!

Good and Lost (Lord of the Flies)

In-Progress:

Untitled (Samurai Champloo)

Brainstorming:

Untitled (Lord of the Flies) --- In the outside world, a nuclear war is raging between the Allies and the Central Powers, much like back in WWI. A German citizen plane is shot down above the ocean, and a girl and her young brother manage to survive the crash. They eventually wash up on the shores of an unknown island, where they meet an unlikely welcoming committee.

German girl --- Name undecided, 15-16 years old. I imagine her a regular anglo-saxon; white, blonde hair, dark blue eyes. She can only speak basic English. She is fearful of the boys on the island, save for one in particular... maybe? Toward her younger brother, she is very motherly and anxious, and will protect him at all costs.

German boy --- Name undecided, 9-10 years old. He is the girl's younger brother. I imagine him small, with curly blonde hair and bright eyes. He hardly speaks any English, but that isn't a problem because he is naturally quiet and calm. I have big plans for him, but I don't want to give anything away. =)
