Welcome all Data fans!

All that needs to be known is, that I'm a Data fan since he arrived on our screens, and that I grew up with the original series. But if you really want to find out more about my wider interests, check out my homepage, where you can find other links and my special 'purple' Data artwork.

If you have any questions regarding my admittedly v e r y lengthy stories, feel free to contact me, and I'll be happy to oblige a serious answer. But please don't resort to hasty comments, since my devoted accounts require complete TNG insider knowledge and deeper character insights, and a bit of time and patience admittedly. But otherwise the psychological meanings are utterly lost to fully enjoy the highly detailed drama, since this is not just a few pages of self-indulgent tie-in fantasy, but serious storytelling for adults based on total canon only. I realise most of the chapters are longer than others' whole stories, but RESURRECTION is basically a major serial and would make at least four TNG episodes. It is a special homage to not only our beloved and lost Data, but also the fascinating man who brought him to live so ingeniously, and simply had to be returned to us. At least on paper.

If you believe my unusual saga is too complex or long, just take it one chapter at a time, but don't skim over things if it gets too talky, or you might miss the whole idea, devoted Trekkie, Data fan or not. Don't let yourself be discouraged by the first chapter, which is purely flashback driven and can be dragging - But the action will take over as soon as Picard and B-4 finally start talking in the second! The first of the posted four parts is more dialogue driven than action oriented, which will emerge later once Data has returned and they engage in a new chilling mission - Please note that this lengthy saga is simply nothing for flamers and those wanting a short and easy read. Just go with the flow, since this is more about the characters and their emotional states and not only the usual space adventure, which will grip you later.

Now, as we all have noticed, some of the TNG episodes or even films had characters sent into actions they by rules or rank etc. could never have been allowed to, had the 'Officers Manual' or proper 'Starfleet' regulations or tech side of things etc. been strictly adhered to - Which in technical terms is called 'overwriting', and in contrast saw others lose out in certain situation, where we might have expected them to take care of things but someone else did, which then is called 'underwriting', and was mainly down to the idea of giving some of the actors more screentime.

But unfortunately, this also made their fictional counterparts suddenly do things they could never really indulge in, know or gain, and was rather unfair on both, since it made the character not fully credible within that instalment. Which again was either deliberate, to provoke reactions from the fans, or of course simple oversight, since the plenty writers had a mere week to come up with a plausible story, and therefore only later noticeable flaws crept in not really their fault.

I have corrected these obvious and other continuity mistakes, and provided a complete picture of the Soong brothers' past finally, since I in contrast had a year to research the entire TNG lore, and my saga cannot be considered a simple sequel. That's why some of the characters will need to be put into their rightful places at some point, just to be completely fair to all if taken seriously. So if you think my end result is too in-depth, blame the original scripts, which gave us in part incomplete plots or weak character developments to take care of that. They wanted us to take TNG serious, that is what I did, and resulted in my need to rectify these mishaps. Which was simply done with the sole purpose to clean up the characters' unresolved past issues, make a clean slate for all, and move on as friends. This is about Data mainly, and the others get their fair share of 'screentime'.

As a last note, the chapter titles were taken from TNG episodes, but just so to name them aptly and have nothing in common with their actual storylines. I have found that the FF system sometimes generates download errors, and text might feature a misspell, bunched up or 'phantom' words, which don't appear in the original despite reloading and reediting. Just ignore them little gremlins. I keep revising things every now and then, just so to add a few words or extend on an idea here and there, and have another very long TNG sequel in the making since last year to continue the friends' missions. But since I don't only post single chapters without the full story done and ready, that might take a few more months to appear, so keep checking back! Please note that I am in the course of streamlining RESURRECTION on the side to make it more 'readable' - or 'compressed' - and replace the chapters as they are finished. Maybe I will concept a 'short version' of it at some point, for the more impatient readers, haha.

The long reedited version of RESISTANCE IS FUTILE was added for the ultimate ego clashes between an anguished Data and failed Picard RESURRECTION mentions several times, to tie in with the overall plot for better understanding the dynamics between the two main protagonists. It should be read beforehand to see the importance of it.

Just a footnote; if you can’t deal with seeing Data asserting himself or lash out in his pain for once after all the stereotypical ‘naïve little android’ portrayals of him, don’t even bother reading this interpretation of events. This is about a matured Data, and not Picard who most certainly is not the hero in this story.

U P D A T E ! -- U P D A T E ! -- U P D A T E ! -- OCTOBER 2011 !

IN CASE YOU'RE INTERESTED IN SOME MUCH MORE JUICY STORIES WITH 'REAL SEX' AND LESSER 'EPIC' IDEAS, YOU CAN FIND A VERY BEAUTIFUL AND HIGHLY EROTIC DATA/LORE SLASH ON MY OTHER SITES CALLED DESCENT, WHICH FORMS THE FIRST PART OF THE EXTENSIVE TRILOGY DATA'S EROTIC ADVENTURES - PLEASE READ ALL THE WARNINGS THERE. I'M NOT IN THE MINDSET TO ENGAGE ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON GAY SEX - ANDROID PERFORMED OR OTHERWISE.

THE OLD BORG QUEEN STORY RESISTANCE IS FUTILE NOW FINALLY HAVING RECEIVED A VERY SERIOUS OVERHAUL TO FORM THE SECOND TRILOGY PART, FEATURING MORE GRAPHIC SEX, TORTURE ASPECTS AND MOSTLY DATA’S INNER THOUGHTS INTERJECTED IN ITALICS AS SEEN IN MY DESCENT, IT IS ALREADY POSTED AS COMPLETE ON THE FIRST SITE BELOW FEATURING A CRUCIAL EXTRA SURPRISE CHAPTER NOT FOUND IN THE RATED-13 VERSION POSTED HERE.

I NOW HAVE FINISHED WRITING THE THIRD PART TO THE TRILOGY, CALLED BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, BUT IT MIGHT BE A FEW MORE WEEKS BEFORE/TILL UPLOADING IT ON ONE OF THE BELOW SITES IN WHOLE, SINCE IT'S VERY LONG AND NEEDS REFORMATTING THERE. IT'S A PARTLY RATHER DISTURBING ALTERNATE UNIVERSE-SET TALE WHERE DATA FINDS HIS OWN ALTER EGO HE BECOMES SEX SLAVE AND TOP RANKING OFFICER TO. BUT NOT ONLY THAT - IT IS MORE A VERY DARK PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDY OF HIS UTTERLY CHANGED LIFE AND HOW HE COPES WITH THE SUDDEN EXTREMES OF GREAT PAIN AND GREATER PLEASURES, ALSO WITH 'FIRST-PERSON NARRATIVE/POV' AS THE TWO PREVIOUS STORIES.

THESE THREE TO ME VERY SPECIAL STORIES ARE UTTERLY DIFFERENT IN TONE AND STYLE OR NARRATIVE TO THE HEAVY RESURRECTION SAGA, AND ARE MUCH EASIER TO READ AND ENJOYABLE ON DIFFERENT LEVELS TO INDULGE IN. PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT IF YOU FOUND YOURSELF HAPPY WITH THEM. BUT NO STUPID FLAMERS - ALL INAPPROPRIATE REVIEWS/COMMENTS WILL SIMPLY BE DELETED WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT.

FIND THE X-RATED DATA/LORE SLASH DESCENT AND XX-RATED FOLLOW-UP RESISTANCE IS FUTILE ON THE LINKS BELOW TO TWO OF MY OWN WEBSITES, FEATURING BETTER FORMATTING AND PERSONAL DESIGN OPTIONS FANFICTION.NET T DOESN'T OFFER.

ITS SISTER SITE ADULTFANFICTION.NET, WHICH ALLOWS ADULT AND SLASH STORIES ONLY, UNFORTUNATELY FEATURES EVEN LESSER VITAL RE/FORMATTING OPTIONS, AND BOTH THESE STORIES CAN BE FOUND THERE TOO:
