Yes, I, Alyssa, have decided to re-do my profile page... again. What can I say, I have gained interests and lost interests and figured I would inform the world as such. I am 21 years old and I am an aspiring writer that still doesn't know what her backup is. I am very fond of video games, books, movies, and other things creative. -Then you realize that Riku doesn't even exist in reality. He is just a bunch of clumped up pixels. You then cry.

-You now refer to Mickey Mouse as "King Mickey" like that's always been his name.

-During class you start to wonder just exactly why Riku's hair is silver. I mean, its not a natural color, unless he's in a lot of stress or he's aging strangely.

-Cry your ass off during certain cut-scenes even though you've seen them like a THOUSAND times.

-You curse Square Enix for taking so long to come out with KH3 and where KH2 ended.

-You got tired of showing people how obsessed you are with this list, so even though there are more, you stopped putting them here.

I am going to write a Hiei/OC/Kurama story. I might make it a reader insert and put it on fos-ff and lunaescence, with the OC on here. All I would have to do is fill in the blanks! :D

So, I had a few revelations today:

1. I will never like a nice guy... or, like, the nice guy. In any situation. Wanna know how I know? Look at the guys I like. Riku over Sora. Sephiroth and Rufus over Cloud. Dorian over Kiyo. Aidou and Zero over Kaname, though that one doesn't completely count. Keenan over Seth. Irial over Niall. Trevor over Alexander. Derek over Simon. Cam over Daniel. Zuko over Aang. Draco over Harry or Ron. Edge over Cecil. Kuja over Zidane (barely). Jack over Will. My rare exceptions are: I like Dimitri over... um... other guys? He doesn't REALLY count as a "nice guy" but he is the canon guy... for now. I liked Edward better, back in the old days when I liked Twilight. Hmm. I like Peter better than Edmund. I like Luke better than Han. I think that's it. And if you notice, none of those canon lead guys are really "nice"... they just happen to end up the "main" guy, which is kind of what I'm basing this off of.

2. A small, but still slightly significant, part of while I feel this way may be a simple fact. I like to write fan fiction. Now, seriously here. Who wants to write fan fiction about Edward and Bella? I mean, no offense to authors who write this, but it takes A LOT to make their RELATIONSHIP interesting. You can add plot all you want, but the relationship of Edward and Bella will be boring. At this point, you team Jacob people that I will never join, could have one HELLA AWESOME fan fic about them getting together! Like really. It adds spice. Take Vampire Kisses for example. Alexander is great and all but... "Hello I'm Gothic.""Really? So am I!""I love vampires!""I am one!""I have no friends and have always been an outcast in society!""Whoa me too!""I love you!""I love you too!" That is about all I see to the Raven/Alexander pairing. Sure, they have a TON in common. And Alexander is a great guy. But... there just isn't any spice to it. Now Trevor, on the other hand, has known her since Kindergarten and enjoys picking on her. Even though all they ever do is fight, Raven might not have been far off about saying he loves her. They have a TON of chemistry. And this is from only reading the first three books. Another wonderful example that I hope won't make legions of people hate me. Aang versus Zuko. Yeah, I'm bringing Kataang and Zutara into this.

Aang is a GREAT GUY. That's what Kataang people usually don't get about Zutarians. We don't have anything against Aang. He's a really cool dude. Nice, wants to save the world, but overall... not a very dynamic character. I didn't say static. AANG IS NOT BY ANY MEANS A STATIC CHARACTER. I know he matures. I am well aware of it. But for Aang, his development is almost like growing up, not a real change in character. Zuko on the other hand is quite dynamic. I mean, just watch him in the first episode and then in the last few. You can see how much he changes. Now, Zutara being a fanon pairing at the end of the series, it takes WORK to make a fic about them. But it can still be interesting. Aang and Katara? Sure, you can chunk on some more plot, but unless you make a love triangle... Aang and Katara just aren't INTERESTING as a couple. Same arguments for Dramione instead of having her with Ron. Keenan with Aislinn over her being with Seth. See? It is the more interesting pairing. There is more of a challenge to writing it.

3. Seeing as how I will never like the "nice guy" in my fandoms... I never will in real life. I obviously want a challenge. I don't want to find a guy who has a ton of stuff in common with me and us get along great, never fight, never have any problems with the relationship, and live happily ever after. I just can't. Because I want my life to be like a fan fic I write. I want it to be interesting, even if I can't save Gaia, or travel to other worlds, or meet vampires. I need someone that is a challenge, so if I get the slightest inkling that the person I am with will be the standard "nice guy?" I'm out. And therein lies my problem.

4. My problem is that there is no happy medium with guys. You either have the nice guy, or the asshole. In real life, there isn't a Derek, or a Dorian, or a Keenan, or a Zuko. They don't exist. At least until guys get past mid-life crisis. And if any male being would like to argue with me on this matter, feel free. I would love to be enlightened that there is, in fact, a ninja vampire with a British accent that would actually care about me but be able to decide things for himself, be assertive, but not too controlling, be attractive, be physical but not forceful, be smart, have a personality, not lie, and not cheat on me. Tell me now, even if I take the words 'ninja' 'vampire' and 'accent' out of that... does that guy exist out of the book world and movie world? No. He doesn't. At least not for me.

5. Do not mistake this into me saying I am depressed. I am, by no means, depressed. I am happily about to make myself some corn bread with butter and either write fan fiction, original fiction, listen to music, read, or make an AMV. I am very happy. But I could be happier. In all honesty, everyone could be happier. God. I sound like a psychiatrist. Icky. I'm gonna go get creative now!

Things That Piss Me Off:

1. When people don't know enough about a series, read fan fiction for it, see something enough to believe it is canon, and then use it so that even more people see it and confuse it with canon. Example: Hiei and "sweet snow". Never is it even hinted at in the show that Hiei is obsessed with ice cream, but in almost every fan fiction I have read about him, it is mentioned or used. Why?

2. When people disregard canon in their fan fiction. I mean... sure, not every fanon pairing is canon, duh, but NEVER will I (with the exception of Harry Potter) disregard something canon that happened. Seeing as how I have a Yu Yu Hakusho obsession right now, I will use another Hiei example. If you wanna get him with an OC, or (on fos-ff or lunaescence) the reader, that is all fine and dandy. If you are placing it in the middle of the series, once again, good for you. But it makes me angry when people completely leave out the facts that, at the end of the series, he stayed in the demon world and clearly had some kind of "thing" with Mukuro. As much as I hate the pairing, I will not deny it, and if I were to write a fan fic, I would NOT under any circumstances leave out that little fact. I would work with it and around it, but never remove it altogether and try to say that Hiei never showed any signs of liking the woman in a romantic way. Because he did. And there is no way to change that. So there.

3. When people chew with their mouths open.

7. Arrogant people who feel the need to make fun of everyone around them no matter how much they care about anyone and with no regard to anyone else's feelings.

So, hey there world! I have realized that, in the lights of my new story, I am actually wanting to write fan fiction for my fan fiction. Is that allowed? I mean, I can 100 tell you that, in efforts of keeping Kurama in character, and keeping Aiko in character, they won't end up together, period. But then I realized it was that exact problem I have in shows, books, games, etc. that makes me LIKE a pairing. So now I want to write Kurama/Aiko fan fiction about my fan fiction! >.

Of course, I do realize that is my fault! . I'm so mean to my characters.
