country: USA
Author has written 33 stories for Twilight, Thief Lord, Harry Potter, Maximum Ride, Hunger Games, Shakespeare, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, StarTrek: The Next Generation, and Mortal Instruments.

My name is Bella.
Yes, I wouldn't have that nickname if it weren't for Twilight. Back in '06, when my friends and I got into it, they looked at me and said, "Hey, you have longish brown hair, you're super clumsy, and your name sounds a lot like it, so we'll call you Bella!"

And I've been Bella ever since.(:

I come here to improve and share my writing.
If you don't believe my writing has improved, take a look at "Day of Night," my first fic. Then look at one of my more recent stories, like "The Battle of the Exes."
Actually, on second thought, don't look at "Day of Night." I can barely stand to look at it.
Stories are my escape. I write them and I read them and there's nothing I enjoy more.

Books
are
all
like
little
worlds.

I reserve the right to express myself, and I do so in my writing. I express in the written word what I won't--or can't--express in the spoken word.
Sometimes I get carried away with this.

The
words
make
all
the
difference.

For two years, I have participated in (and won) NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month. The challenge is to write fifty thousand words of a novel in the month of November. I have so far written two novels using NaNoWriMo as a start. I find it to be a great resource and definitely a good way to churn out most of a novel. Care to join me? Make an account and then friend me or whatever.(:

I do not believe in:
Studying: if we are to test our knowledge, shouldn't it be based off what we really know rather than what we know from cramming?
Umbrellas: the rain rejuvenates and awakens the dead and dying. We are denying ourselves so much by "protecting"ourselves from the rain.
Politics: isn't this pretty much how all the problems started in the first place?
Abortion: everyone makes mistakes and has to live with the consequences. No one should get an easy out, especially when the price is an unlived life.

Another word on studying: it just doesn't work for me. The last three big tests I really studied for didn't go very well.
Algebra 2, Precaculus, Calculus.
I failed each one.

I do believe in:
God.
Kindness.
Hope.
Humanity (to a certain extent).
The power of IMAGINATION.
The power of STORIES.

I am a vegetarian. Why should I support the cruelty of the meat industry? Some people say, in regard to the animals who are victims of the cruelty, that they are going to die anyway, so what's it matter if their lives are miserable?
Well, you're going to die anyway, so what's it matter if your life is miserable?
Exactly.

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In short, I'm Mormon. Don't worry, I won't preach to you or anything, but I will warn you that my religion affects every area of my life, including my writing.

When you get right down to thinking about it, lots is possible in this world.
You've just gotta find it, hold on, and never let go.

I've had tough times in life. I've done things I regret and broken too many promises too many times. But we all go through this. And it can't rain forever...
Speaking of the rain, I just love it. (:

I have a great family, real and fake, immediate and extended.

I also have claim on the world's most amazing friends. I don't know (and I don't want to know) where I'd be without them.

Torn between indecision:
Selfishness and selflessness.
The path one must take;
The journey one must make.
Hearts I don't want to break;
Decisions I'd rather not face--
For fear
of the
unknown.

I love music: Paramore, Flyleaf, Escape the Fate, Evanescence, Owl City, Boys Like Girls, A Fine Frenzy, Taylor Swift, Vanessa Carlton, Eyes Set to Kill, We Are the Fallen, Black Veil Brides, Jimmy Eat World, Sky Sailing, All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Yellowcard, Every Avenue, A Day to Remember...
What would the world be like without music?

I have a lot of favorite characters, but there are three I absolutely despise, namely:
Juliet Capulet, of Shakespeare's fame.
Ever I-really-don't-care-what-her-last-name-is of The Immortals by Alyson Noel.
The ever-demonic little Angel from Maximum Ride.

Speaking of Maximum Ride, Iggy is the sexiest bird kid to ever grace the planet.(:

My all-time favorite movie is the 2004 version of The Phantom of the Opera.
Others I like: The Thief Lord, Inkheart, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Avatar, Moulin Rouge!, and StarTrek.

Dorky as it is, I am a StarTrek fan.
My favorite series of the franchise is, hands-down, TNG.
Wesley Crusher is just to die for.
(swoon)

I have a thing for musicals. Some favorites of mine include: The Phantom of the Opera (which I absolutely MUST see on stage), West Side Story, Moulin Rouge!, A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel, Starship, The Sound of Music, and my current obsession, Wicked, which was absolutely amazing. Or, better yet, WONDERFUL.

I sing. I recently joined a youth choir, and I've performed multiple times with my two closest friends. Together, our initials are A.B.C. Is that perfect, or what?

I survived college application season, whilst writing a novel and directing a play (which I wrote). I've so far received three acceptance letters: one from Miami U, one from Columbia College Chicago, and one from Purdue. I intend to major in creative writing, unless a miracle takes place and I'm accepted to Harvard.

I would love to learn how to speed read.
Oh, the fun I'd have...

My tentative (and reconstructed) all-time favorite books are (I just can't deal with the numbers!):

The Twilight Saga (consisting of Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn) by Stephenie Meyer.
The Maximum Ride series (The Angel Experiment, School's Out--Forever, Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports, The Final Warning, MAX, FANG, and ANGEL) by James Patterson.
