Hi all! I've got plenty of interesting stories for you to read, so please feel free to do so! It would be wonderful if you could send me a review about the particular story that you've read. I always like getting comments on how I can improve my stories for the reader. I have a great website that you should check out as well as my account on fictionpress under the same pen name. Drop me a line if you want to talk! Enjoy reading and please, DON'T FORGET TO REVIEW! Thanks!
Well, I've decided to redo my profile. Now, there's a lot less info about me and a lot more info about my stories and their status. I find it really helpful when other people do it, so I thought my readers out there might appreciate it, too. :-)
Just a small bit of info about me before we get going:
Favorite Fandoms (TV/Movies/Books/etc.): Doctor Who, Quantum Leap, V for Vendetta, Crossing Jordan, Supernatural, The Monkees, Law and Order: CI, Psych, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Sliders, X-Files, House, MASH, Van Helsing, Lord of the Rings, The Mediator, The Phantom of the Opera, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Saved, Grey's Anatomy, Highlander, Heroes, Forever Knight, and I'm sure there are countless others I have missed. :-)
Favorite Actors/Actresses: JOHNNY DEPP, Jill Hennessey, Jerry O'Connell, Orlando Bloom, Alan Rickman, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Vincent D'Onofrio, Hugh Laurie, David Tennant, Billie Piper, Emmy Rossum, Hugh Jackman, Will Ferrell, Scott Bakula, Mike Nesmith (Does that count?), and many, many others.
Favorite Music: Classic rock/80's rock, Keane, Journey, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Baroque music, Broadway tunes, Queen, Chris Daughtry, and many others I can't name here.
Okay, now for the stories:
Pirates of the Caribbean
A Sparrow Set Free: (TEMPORARILY DISCONTINUED) This is probably my most popular story to date. It is also probably the worst written one since it's been almost three years since I updated. I am planning on revamping and continuing to post to this story. I just need a bit more inspiration and time to keep updating to this one. Look for updates closer to the Spring.
To Have Sailed the Seven Seas: (DISCONTINUED) I have no further plans to continue this story as of now. However, if I'm suddenly struck by some strange inspiration for it, I will be sure to continue. Otherwise, I think I've pretty much given up on it.
A Merry Little Christmas: (COMPLETE!) Read itif you haven't already! It's sure to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :-)
...And Back Again: (COMPLETE!) Please read if you haven't. Just a poem with romantic thoughts of CJS. A must for any fangirl.
Highlander
The Written Word: (COMPLETE!) This one's been finished for a while with the promise of a sequel. At the time, that seemed like a good idea, but now I have almost zero inspiration for it. Sorry!
Van Helsing
Arise the Bloodied Moon: (DISCONTINUED) I'm going to make a confession here that I really didn't have any idea where I was going to take the story after the first chapter. I adore the fandom, but I just can't see myself finishing it anytime soon.
Phantom of the Opera
For All Time: (DISCONTINUED) I had a lot of drive for this one in the beginning, but now it's just gone. I have no immediate plans to continue it.
Sliders
Turning Point: (DISCONTINUED) I was writing this and my 'Phantom' story at the same time, and that was working out great for a while. It just didn't pay off in the end. Again, I adore the fandom, but I don't see myself writing for it anymore.
MASH
To Wake Up to Your Smiling Face: (COMPLETE!) Another poem reflecting on the wonderful character of Hawkeye Pierce.
Survivor: (IN PROGRESS) I know there are a million and one people who wanted me to continue with this, and so do I. I'm just trying to find the right time. Give it a bit longer and some more MASH episodes, and I'll see what I can do. ;-)
Supernatural
Shadows, Deep and Dark: (IN PROGRESS) I'm still trying to decide what direction I want to take this story in, but don't think I've forgotten about it. I'm just trying to come up with better plot devices at this point. (10/10: I've lost the next written chapter for this story, and it's probably going to take me a little longer to get anywhere on this story again. Plus, now I'm at University...)
The Little Things: (COMPLETE!) I was bored this Valentine's Day, so I decided to write a short and fluffy little fic about the boys. It's cute, it'll fill you with warm little fuzzies inside. Read it. :-)
Doctor Who
Of Time and Blue Boxes: (COMPLETE!) This one's been done for some time. Fancy a read?
Passion Dance: (COMPLETE!) Another one in the fandom done. Give it a chance if you haven't read it yet. Please?
Adventures in Shopping: (COMPLETE!) A bit of silliness, really.
Moments in Time: (COMPLETE!) A sort of homage piece to Rose because I adore her character. In the same universe as Of Time and Blue Boxes.
In the Spirit of the Season: (COMPLETE!) My real motivation for this story was a need for a fluffy Christmas fic with Jack, Alix, and the Doctor, as well as the great pressure I was getting to jump on the Christmas fic bandwagon. It's short and sweet, so give it a read if you need a bit of a pick me up. ;-) Also, in the author's note to this story, I mention posting a second chapter to it, reflecting New Year's Eve. There is no second chapter, but I did post a follow-up to this, the new and improved Mistaken Identity. Read below for more info on that. Sorry for the potential confusion.
Mistaken Identity: (IN PROGRESS) While I was away trying to brainstorm new ideas for this story, a little plot bunny struck me and I really didn't have the heart to ignore it. From that came the new story line of Mistaken Identity. It is no longer a Pirates of the Caribbean crossover, but a crossover with BBC3's Torchwood, which includes Captain Jack Harkness as he was in the time before my stories take place. I have already had requests to put the old story back up, and I am in the process of figuring out a new title for this one and where it can fit in the timeline of my stories. It should be up soon, so keep checking back. For right now, though, go give the new story a read and see how you like it. :-)
(10/10: I may or may not have misplaced the next written chapter I've wrote for this story, so it's going to be difficult to rewrite now that I'm at University. I'm going to try and finish this as fast as I can, though, because I really want to wrap up this series soon.)
The TARDIS Landed in My Backyard, and All I Got Was This Lousy Cold: (COMPLETE!) Just another one-shot, but not a tale in the Time and Blue Boxes universe. It involves Ten and an OC. Just a little plot bunny that's been nagging me since Christmas. Enjoy! Look for a sequel very soon. :-)
The Great Pajama Kidnapping: (COMPLETE!) The promised sequel to The TARDIS Landed in My Backyard, and All I Got Was This Lousy Cold. Corina is back for another adventure with the Doctor, but her first trip around the universe might not be at all what she expects. There may be a third part to this series, so keep a look out.
Heroes
Now is the Month of Maying: (COMPLETE!) An AU one-shot I wrote for the Heroes Holiday Spring Ficathon on LiveJournal in May. It's a look at the lives of some of our Heroes if they were in a fairy tale. It is of a Mature rating, so be warned! Has hints of Peter/Claire and Sylar/Claire pairings as well as an obvious Nathan/Claire pairing.
Miscellaneous
Collisions: (IN PROGRESS) This story fits nowhere and everywhere at the same time. It's the biggest crossover story I've ever written. I've toyed around with the idea for some time, and I just couldn't ignore it anymore. It's a crossover of the TV fandoms Heroes, Crossing Jordan, The X-Files, Torchwood, Doctor Who, Life on Mars, Quantum Leap, Psych, Sliders, Highlander, Grey's Anatomy, House, Law and Order: CI, MacGyver, Supernatural, and The Dresden Files. (I may fit MASH somewhere in there as well.)
Disclaimer: Most of the characters (unless otherwise specified) depicted in these stories are NOT mine. They are the property of their brilliant creators; I have only borrowed them for a short time.
