Author has written 31 stories for RENT, Spring Awakening, Wicked, and Misc Plays/Musicals. About Me: I enjoy writing Rent fan fiction, though I may occasionally deviate to other shows. I love using all three tenses and I have a rather dreamy writing style, meant to evoke more feelings than actions. I started out writing poetry and my stories really reflect that. You can see my poetry in Then Forever, Musings in Mourning, Sad Is The Moon, The Dusty Stage, Thief of the Hour and Glow. I usually write fiction for musicals- it's my favourite type of entertainment, and something I can really connect to. My theatre idols are Frank Wedekind, Stephen Sondheim, Michael Bennett, Tony Kushner, Jonathan Larson and Duncan Sheik. They are gods, if you ask me, and all my writing is devoted to their amazing work. Accordingly, my favourite shows are Spring Awakening, Sweeney Todd, A Chorus Line, Angels in America and Rent. I'm also very much in love with Grey Gardens (and Ms. Christine Ebersole.) I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read my stories and review them. I generally don't respond to reviews, but I do read them all, and I appreciate them. I also try not to put authors' notes at the top of my stories; I find it takes you out of the characters' world and puts you into the author's, and I prefer for the story to stand alone, in and of itself. Because of that, I've taken the time now to fill out my profile so you can learn a bit more about me. What I'm Working On Now: I'm quite busy with homework and projects, but I am writing a rather long story detailing Mark and Maureen's relationship from start to finish. That might take a while, so please peruse my other stories in the meantime. In my opinion, my best stories are Glow, Requiem, Then Forever and Songs for Spring, which is also my most popular. | |||||||||||||
