Edit 1/16/12: My story, "What is Normal?", has been renamed "Let it Burn". The summary has also changed. It was once: "Returning to normal may not be as easy as the trio thought it would be. Sora and Kairi's new feelings seem to be the most challenging feat yet. They certainly aren't in Destiny Islands anymore." It's now: "Sora, Riku and Kairi are together again, but everything's not perfect. Sora and Kairi's budding romance is a problem; all three seem to be hiding secrets… when they get thrown into another plot, who can they trust when they're so unsure of each other?" It's the same story, but I think the new title and summary better fit where the story's going. Sorry for any confusion.

Edit 12/28/2011: My gift fics in December were an amazing success! They're done with now, and I'm so glad people loved them! I'm happy to have contributed to the Christmas spirit. It's great to write for my friends, and I hope to do it again soon.

Proving that miracles do, in fact, happen... I just posted the full second chapter of "Life Left to Go"! I also have now posted the complete first chapter of "What is Normal?" Don't overlook them guys. They're not the same as before, and you won't understand the rest of the stories without reading the full chapters. Anyway, I plan to post a new chapter of these every day. If all goes well they'll be alternating. So this will be... an experience for me. Usually, I can't write two full-length stories at once, but I'm trying anyway. Oh well. I'm determined. I know I can do it this one time. And who knows, maybe I can make it work for me and discover a better way of writing.

Now, I'm going to explain the progress of my stories. Well, multi-chapters anyway. I hope to keep this up so everyone knows immideately how the chapter they're waiting on is going.

First off, let's start with the long awaited third part to my Wakefulness/The Other Half stories. I actually have most of it done, but need to finish it, and edit it. I'll be honest, I've had most of it done for awhile, but haven't gone back to it. The reason for this is simple: I've really fallen out of The Vampire Diaries. I've just gotten really irritated with it. The books really ended up bothering me, and so has the show. I just hate all the characters besides Damon, and I can't enjoy it anymore. Especially since I see the last book as a cop out; it ended exactly the way I thought it would. And though I still haven't finished the third part of my series, you'll see that I did predict what happened. And, yes, like with the other parts, I wrote it before the release of Midnight (though after Shadow's Souls). Anyway, I will finish it all for you eventually. I promise you that, but give me some time. It's not fun for me to write anymore. After it's done, I'll probably never return to TVD again.

Now, let's talk about my other KH multi-chapters I'm working on: The Darkness Fades to the Light, and Hearts of the Kingdom. These stories are not dead, and I plan to finish them. But the reason they're so slow coming is, well, real life is hectic. And I want to be a published author. When I find time to write, if I'm going to write a multi-chapter, I usually choose to write an original story. I have a lot of those I need to write, and edit right now. I want to try submitting them to publishers eventually. So I don't have time for long fanfics. However, I do post a lot of one-shots when I'm writing my original fics. It's refreshing, but my brain can't handle much more than that. I know other authors are different, but I can't write two full-length stories at once. All my time and energy goes into the one I am writing, so I can't do more. I also have issues writing if I'm reading a new book or long fanfic. But I promise you, I WILL make time to finish these stories. But it may be awhile. Bare with me.

Now, I have a question for you all. I have parts of the next chapter of The Darkness Fades to the Light written. Though I won't commit to this for a very long time, do you want me to post the chapter preview now? Or do you just want to wait (a long time) for the full version?

About my FFX/X-2 story, The Unsents' Sentiment, what I said about my KH multi-chapters applies here. I WILL finish this, but it will be awhile. And I'll admit, right now I'm more into KH, so it's slightly harder to write for this story. But I will finish it, and I apologize for all the people waiting on an update. Hopefully, your waiting will be worth it one day.

As for All the Same, Drowning in the Emptiness, and Taking Over me... I think I've decided to leave them as one-shots. They were really meant to be that way, anyway. And I don't really have any more ideas for them. And I like the idea of leaving them open ended. Except maybe Taking Over Me. That one's a tricky decision for me. I MIGHT return to it at some point, but for everyone's sanity, it's probably best that you and I don't expect that. LOL.

Another story I'm working on is a sequel to one of my first (and most popular) fics, No One Would Listen. It's just a cute Zidane and Garnet/Dagger one-shot I have planned to pay tribute to the fandom and pairing. I have much of it done, but I just need to finish it up, and make it up to par with my current style of writing. However, right now it seems it might be awhile before I post it. Not too long (like some of the other stories) because fun one-shots are always relaxing, but I've planned to focus on Life Left to Go and What is Normal? So...

Also, I have some requests I'll probably be doing at some point (way later, but whatever). After LLtG and WiN? probably. After that, I'll probably not take requests again so I can finish my OTHER multi-chappies. Then, I'll probably never do more multi-chapter fanfictions again. One-shots are more my friend:)

Well, I'm trying to post some of my older one-shots (that I have written, but haven't posted for some reason), but I probably won't do that until I make you all happier. You deserve the stories you've been waiting for. I may squeeze these in somehwere since they're almost done, but I'm putting them on the backburner for you guys.

I hope this answers a lot of your questions. And, once again, I apologize for any inconvinience I've caused you guys. Thank you so much for all your support!

Here is my stance on replying to reviews/PMs. When I was first starting out, I'd decided to only reply to reviews from my multi-chapter stories. Mainly because there's more to say about those. And I've had so many one-shots over the years, it's hard to remember them all. I even am apalled by some of my earlier writing now. However, now I do try to reply to any review I get. Though sometimes I forget or am too busy. And if I get distracted from something I'm about to reply to... chances are I'll never reply. Mainly because the message will disappear from my in-box, and I'll forget I was supposed to be replying. Please don't misunderstand! I LOVE these things more than anything, but I'm only human. I make mistakes. And real life can be diffcult. But you have no idea how much your support means to me. If I could, I'd reply to every favorite and alert I got, too. But it's too time consuming. Especially since I also have to reply to people on YouTube and deviantArt. So let me say this now: I appreciate everything you guys do for me. I will reply when I can, but if I haven't, just assume that real life is in the way or I forgot. It's not a personal thing in anyway.

Since I mostly post KH stories, I've thought it time to explain things you all may be wondering about.

For instance, why do I capitalize "light", "darkness", and "princess" when it's not capitalized in the game. Well, to put it simply, I think they should be capitalized in the game. Because the power of light is different than flipping a light switch. Does that make sense? In KH, the light and darkness are forces. Almost treated as god like. I capitalize them to show the difference. So I'd say "Darkness" like: "Riku gave into the power of Darkness", and "Kairi painted the wall in a dark color". See the difference? And I capitalize "princess" when I'm talking about the Princesses of Heart. They're different than usual princesses, but I actually think they capitalize that in the game. So if you see caps in my stories, it's because something is important or different.

Now for Naminé/Namine/Nami. As you can probably tell, I'm pretty OCD at writing it "Naminé". Technically, that's the correct way. And you'll always see me use it that way. However, I don't mind if other authors just put "Namine". Adding the accent is annoying, but I'm a perfectionist, so I do it. And I often call her "Nami" as a cute nickname. I like to change it up a bit so I'm not writing the same things over and over. And I'm not gonna lie, I often just write "Nami" if I don't want to spend extra time and add the accent at the end of her name. So now that makes sense to you all. LOL.

Oh yeah! I just remembered something I wanted to talk about: In-Universe. Unless I say differently, my stories will always be in canon. I may blend it with AU and what-ifs, but it'll always, always be based off the original source. Mainly because if I want to write or read for a certain fandom, I want it to be about that fandom. Otherwise, I could be reading/writing original fiction or books. Or could be reading/writing fanfiction in a category more similar to my idea. This is not to say that I won't ever read or write AU. I might get inspired someday. And I know I've found many AU stories that I love, but those are usually by chance, reccomendation, or something that catches my eye. Even though I love some AU stories, as well as canon ones, I'll always be looking for canon. So that's mostly where you'll find me. That's just the way I am.
