Equestrienne Dreams: Twenty-one. Veterinary nurse. Head over heels in love with Star Trek, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Sharon Small, Amanda Tapping, and Mary McDonnell. Trekkie, Wholigan, Fiver, and budding Gatehead. Reads Merlin and Axis Powers Hetalia slash voraciously, despite never having seen either. Neurotic. Thinks she's a writer. Hardcore romantic. Likes romance novels and champagne just a bit too much. Also likes to think she can ride horses. Would probably be hideously miserable if not for her best friends. Grew up in America, has all the sociological traits of someone born in England and wants to move to Scotland. Has killed an entire forest in number of novels cluttering her bookshelves. Probably the only person ever who has thought of a crossover between Star Trek and The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, let alone actually written the thing - it's called And All the Stars Burned Bright. Loyal to a fault. Very much a Hufflepuff, with all that entails. A curious creature.

On Fanfic and Other Things:
The Lynneverse: This is my own colloquial name for my collection of stories featuring Barbara Havers and Thomas Lynley of The Inspector Lynley Mysteries. The most complete collection is hosted at the Archive of Our Own (under the username roseandheather) as the "Bittersweet and Strange" series; other works in the same universe are hosted on LiveJournal at fic_bouquet. These stories are all set in the same 'verse, unless otherwise noted, and have their own internally consistent continuity and reference each other frequently. I am firmly of the opinion that, as of "Limbo," it is impossible to truly break them apart, and this is reflected in everything I write. This is my love letter to them, and, particularly, to Barbara.

For Sharon, of course, in all her genius.
