| ErabuHikari |
Author has written 3 stories for Stargate: Atlantis. "ErabuHikari": Japanese for "choose the light." Hey hey! I never know quite what to write on these nice little profile pages, so I'm doing my best... I'm going to attend USC this fall (fight on!) where I plan to study aerospace engineering. I used to abhor writing, mostly because I never really did it for fun. It was always a case of required assignments for school, and everyone knows how fun those can be... Then I took AP English Language and Compostion last year, and somehow that changed my views. True, those were more required assignments, and worse, non-fiction assignments, but I really felt I found by voice in that class (okay, that sounded corny). Recently, I've discovered fanfiction, which gives you so much more freedom to work with, especially with the sci-fi genre. I'm hooked now! Currently, I live in Florida... and I can't wait to leave. I guess maybe it's because I'm originally from the midwest, but this place is quite an eye-opener to put it mildly. All I ask is to see some evidence of the four seasons during the course of the year, is that so much to ask? Let's see... I'm obsessed with hockey (go Panthers!), NFL football (go Browns!), and college football (go Trojans! Ehm. Obviously.). I'm also obsessed with anything to do with flight (hence the desire to major in aerospace engineering), particularly fighter aircraft. I even thought about joining the military and going to flight school, but a little dolt by the name of George W. Bush changed those plans. That and a medical condition, lol. So I'm settling for a private pilot's license as soon as I can get one. And although a Cessna 172 doesn't quite go Mach 2.5, I guess it will do. :) Not much of a gamer. "What?" you ask. "A teenager who isn't much of a gamer?" I do like Halo, Halo 2, DDR, and Prince of Persia, but that's about it. I'll take settling down with a good book and a nice cup of tea over an X-box any day. Stargate Atlantis is my new obsession. Damn that Major Sheppard! I swear if anything bad happens to that man I will personally trudge up to Bridge Studios in Vancouver and demand change. Feel my wrath! That goes for Rodney, too. I like SG-1, too, though not as much for some reason. Maybe it's because I haven't caught it from the beginning, so I don't feel that connection... whatever the hell that means, lol. I'm trying to catch up on all the episodes, okay? Um, I also watch Battlestar Galactica (new version), Lost, Alias, The Office (American version), American Idol (to make fun of the bad singers) worship the Daily Show, and all the hockey I can get. What else... I listen to almost every type of music imaginable. I play viola and violin, so naturally I listen to classical. I also like rock, some country, bluegrass, oldies, classic rock, swing, some j-rock and anime music, some techno, big band... basically everything but hip-hop, rap, and Latin. That's about it. Hope you enjoy my stories and don't forget to review! | |||||
