I used to be known as 'LandUnderWave', a name which I like much better and use more than 'DeathGodGirl' (which sounds a bit stupid, but I'm reluctant to change it), and that account's still around so you can go there if you wish. I wouldn't advise it, though — I didn't emerge from my fangirly stage until several months after creating this account.

I am a BL/slash/yaoi/shounen-ai/whatever you want to call it fan, but I prefer to read T-rated fics, or ones that are rated M for a reason other than explicitness(violence, swearing, etc.). I will read limes occasionally, but I much prefer what Elflette terms 'oranges' rather than lemons. If for some reason I find myself reading a story with a lemon that is otherwise excellent, I simply skim over or skip that part. (shrugs) In other words, I'm a fangirl with standards. (Oh, and I don't hate het pairings. I have about the same standards for them as BL fics, albiet I'm often much more picky with het stories.)

Wow. I have actually gotten around to creating a C2. This came about because I was sick and tired of not being able to find long non-romance fics when I needed to read some. It contains the best of those, as well as some fics that are good enough you can ignore the romance. If you want to become a staff member, just contact me and recommend a story I haven't read before from a category I =will= read. (This does not apply to the authors of the fics in the C2. If you are one, just ask.) I highly recommend all the stories in this archive.
