April 3rd, 2008 - Wow, more than three years since I've even been here, eh? And the only reason I logged in was to disable my alerts, since I've still been getting them and finally realized I'm never going to read any of these stories. In case it wasn't totally obvious, I'm not writing fanfiction anymore. Chances are I'll never write any sort of fanfiction again. The only fanfic I ever wanted to write was my original characters in someone else's world, and no one ever wanted to read that. They wanted stories with the established canon characters, and I've just never really been comfortable with the idea of pretending to know some else's characters well enough to write them, or knowing that even with my own characters I couldn't really claim a story as mine if the setting was someone else's.

I'm writing my own stuff, even going to college for creative writing. Hopefully I'll be a published author someday, and if you ever really enjoyed my horrid scribblings here you can read the stuff that is really my own.

About: Spawned from Prince of the Danes, a somewhat strange version of Hamlet written by the founder of the BLS Fencing Fencers (Spike Spiegel, and Semchance on LJ). Sometimes known as “Goth Hamlet” to distinguish from the original Shakespearean one. Will be featured on Prince of the Danes posters drawn by yours truly. He has two clones/identical triplet brothers, who go by the names of Bade and Aither. You might know them. Interestingly enough, their age-order is opposite to the order they sprang from my mind.

“A Midsummer Night’s Insanity” –- Shakespeare –- The crazy authoresses and their real-life friends, with characters from pretty much everywhere in tow, are putting on a production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” – but only some of them are taking it seriously. in progress

“Slime and Snails or Puppy-Dogs’ Tails” –- Labyrinth –- When Chibi Donovan is kidnapped by the goblins, it’s up to Griff and Donovan to rescue him. Griff thinks it’ll be a piece of cake – until her authoress powers are taken away, that is. in progress

“Wyvern Lords, Pikachu, and Angels – Oh My!” -- Miscellaneous Crossovers –- What begins as the crazy authoresses’ road trip to the Middle of Nowhere, USA, turns into an adventure through the worlds of our favorite video games – Fire Emblem, Pokémon, and Tales of Symphonia Might add Baten Kaitos. Plans for alternate-universe versions of the DDDH stories are currently floating around in my head as well. This means I’ll be taking the chars from the DDDH stories (and original chars from elsewhere), shoving them into other fandoms, and seeing what I can do with them. Harry Potter and Shaman King versions already have decent plots worked out, and there’s a faint idea for a Xanth one hovering in the back of my mind.
