Aw, don't glare at me please. : I just wrote about 1,000 words of Chapter 13! YAY!! This is going to be a fairly long chapter, I think...here are a spoiler: It's all going to be in Lily's perspective. Yup, stay tuned! I hope to have the chapter ready by Monday! July 9, 2009: I'm SO sorry for the lack of updating my story. I just got back from China and, apart from terrible jet lag (it is currently 5am as I write), I'm sick. :( So it may take a while for the next chapter to be pulled up. To Kayla: So sorry for not sending back your next chapter yet! I'll have it as soon as I can, dear. July 6, 2009: I took a break from Chapter 12 until now, for it didn't seem to be going AT ALL the way I wanted so I'm unsure about how to end it. However, after beta-reading and reviewing several other fanfickers' work, it got me in the mood again. Back to America in 3 days! Working on Chapter 12 now... UPDATE!! After working for two hours, I have finally finished Chapter 12: Moony and Prongs. It is now up! W00T! R&R would be make my day! Please enjoy. :) It is one of the longest chapters yet! Though I have a feeling this next chapter is going to surpass 3k...lucky #13! July 3, 2009: Chapter 12 is halfway done, though it's a little bit different and longer than I'd planned for it to be. :/ I've been a bit slower in writing because I've been reviewing other people's work too, as well as beta-reading the lovely PottedLillies' work! ;D July 2, 2009: Hello fellow fanfickers! Fanfiction: Harry Potter--This is my all-time favorite type to read and to write. I also enjoy Twilight, Smallville and a few other categories, but Harry Potter is the one I focus on 99.9 of the time. CHARACTERS (and pairings): Sirius Black: Siriusly people, he is SUCH a good character. He's one of the reasons why HPPA is my favorite book of the series, though I like him being portrayed more as a good guy in the other books. He's just so GOOD! And I tend to favor him in my fanfic. :) I like pairing him with Lily when they attended Hogwarts themselves. Harry Potter: Who CAN'T like Harry? Though the Harry/Ginny and Harry/Hermione pairings are way too cliche, so I like Harry/Luna the best. Weird, I know, but I love it! Hermione: She's awesome! I think it's cool how Muggleborns can turn out to be amazingly smart and talented at magic. I love Ron/Hermione!! Ron: He's okay, but he can be kind of annoying at times. I only like pairing him with Hermione, nobody else. Bad Guys: Bellatrix, Rita Skeeter and Dolores Umbridge are all GREAT bad guys. Someday, I'm going to write fanfic from the POV of the villians. I do not consider Severus a villian like most and love to portray him is the good guy he is. Narcissa/Severus is fun! Lucius is also a great bad guy too, especially in the movies. Voldemort is just scary. I like to pair Voldy with Bella and also with Narcissa. I like to keep Rita and Dolores alone. :K Draco: I don't have much to say about him, but I do enjoy Draco/Ginny fanfic immensely. The Weasleys: They are SO good and SO nice, I love them! Mr. W./Mrs. W. is loved. Fred/Angelina and George/Angelina and Fred/Katie and George/Katie are fun! Hagrid: I think it was great for JKR to add such a humble and diverse character in the stories of Harry Potter. He's such a good person and I, unlike most HP characters, love his queer obsession of "Fantastic Beasts." Of course, Hagrid/Maxime is classic though rare. Professor McG: Great teacher, great colleague, great, great, great. Dumbledore/McG. is nice. I don't really buy into all that "Dumbledore is gay!" "Dumbledore is a buttpirate!" crap. Oliver: An unimportant though lovely character; some Oliver/Angelina fanfic is interesting. Luna: She is amazingly cool and her weirdness makes her that way. Like I said, I love pairing her with Harry. Wormtail: He just plain sucks. MY WRITING: Currently I only write HP fanfic that usually includes comedy, romance, angst, and friendship. I also write non-fanfiction, which includes regular stories, poetry, and plays/dialogues. JKR has given us a wonderful universe to play with, but she has finished writing the books. It is my personal belief that if she had actually tried to write any of the ships that are now canon, she would see that they do not work. I am aware that, by its very nature, fanfiction is not canon, and cannot ever truly be canon. However, for those who showed enough respect to Jo Rowling to make every effort to keep their fics in line with her vision - some of her recent decisions have been rather disappointing. Luna knew she was a weird witch, but not weird enough to fall in love with the smartest girl in her year! Luna's heart slowly breaks throughout the year as she realizes that Hermione will never love her back. Deep down, she knows Ron and Hermione belong together. Welcome to the melancholy thoughts of the one witch nobody seems to understand. 9. Is there any such thing as One/Eight fluff? James/Draco? Uh, I don't think so since they're from different time periods. XD 10. Suggest a title for a Seven/Twelve hurt/comfort fic. Jacob/Lupin meet each other one faithful day in Ireland, both drinking in a local pub. Jacob is lamenting over Renesmee, who has been killed by a jealous Leah (as a werewolf), and Lupin is lamenting over Tonks, who has fallen in love with Sirius instead! They befriend each other and start drinking and 'fessing up about life and regrets. Oneshot about two men in pain and alone. But, as they slowly find out, it's better to be alone than lonely. 11. If you wrote a songfic about Eight, what song would you choose? Draco...I'm not sure at the moment, but it would definitely be a deep love song about his feelings for Ginny. 12. If you wrote a One/Six/Twelve fic, what would the warning be? James/Bella/Lupin. Bella's a major Mary Sue, we all know THAT! Magic and vampire, NOT a good combo! 13. When was the last time you read a fic about Five? The day before yesterday, I read "Bella's Last Kiss" and a few others. :) 14. "(James) and (Jacob) are in a happy relationship until (Ron) runs off with (GinnyJames), brokenhearted, has a hot one-night stand with (Severus) and a brief unhappy affair with (Lupin), then follows the wise advice of (Edward) and finds true love with (LunaWow, that is impossible, improbable and creepy. wags finger James!
