My stories:

As Harry and Severus grew up unloved and didn’t receive any cuddling when they were sick or sad, I believe that they need a lot of it. Therefore, my stories are mostly pure fluffy stories about a sick Harry or a sick Severus, who is being cuddled and cared for by various people. Some stories might also be the other way round. I do not write slash, by the way.

For all those, who do not like sickfics, feel free to check out my other account under teddylonglong, where I post 'normal' HP fanfiction.

I am not a native speaker of English; therefore, you will surely find many mistakes in my stories – please excuse them or tell me, so that I can correct them. My stories do not claim to be logical, medically accurate or compliant to canon. I spent so many years at university having to be careful of what I write to take my doctors degree and now... I just enjoy to be able to write fanfiction the way I WANT to write - and I LOVE IT :-) Please leave me a nice review – I’m only writing these little sickfics for people who enjoy them!

Theresa Pomfrey: She is Poppy's grandmother and was her predecessor at Hogwarts. Well, you can imagine her age, but she is fit and very kind and gentle, a 'loving grandmother' character. Rose Evans-Snape: Lily's and Petunia's magical sister; Severus' wife. A very kind woman and a Mediwitch. She appears (at least) in: Harry's Strange Charms.
Kathy Mackenzie-Snape: Brianna's mother and Harry's adopted mother in: Death Eater's Child.
Students:
Julia White: Gryffindor student, Harry's friend, one year above Harry's normal years. She appears (at least) in: Hearing the Truth, Silvanus Snape.
Ken Brighton: Slytherin student, Harry's friend, one year above Harry's normal years. He appears (at least) in: Hearing the Truth, Silvanus Snape.
Brianna Mackenzie: Kathy's and Severus' daugther; Harry's adopted sister. Birthday: First of July, 1980; tall with long and straight black hair, dark blue eyes. She appears in: Death Eater's Child.
Elves:
Misty: Misty is Poppy's personal house-elf as well as the elves' Healer and possesses her own, strong Healing magic. She is a strict, but very kind character. She appears (at least) in: Magical Twins, Elves' Child, Phoenix Land.
Barney: The Head house-elf. He appears (at least) in: Magical Twins, Elves' Child.
Cicero: Professor Snape's personal house-elf. He is a tall figure, a bit sarcatic, very much alike his master. He appears (at least) in: Cats to the Rescue, Elves' Child, Phoenix Land.
Malcolm: Professor McGonagall's personal house-elf. He appears (at least) in: Severus McGonagall, Elves' Child.
Twinkle: Professor Dumbledore's personal house-elf. He appears (at least) in: Elves' Child (I forgot where else, sorry).
Sophia: Severus' house-elf at Prince Manor. She is older and already looked after him when he was a child. She appears (at least) in: Silvanus Snape
Nina: Elf girl, exactly the same age as Harry
Tony: Elf boy, exactly the same age as Harry

Animals:
Amaterasu: The basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets, Salazar Slytherin's Familiar; a very good natured large snake. She appears (at least) in: Harry's Strange Charms

My April Writing Challenge:

Topic: The Flubberworm Measles Epidemic at Hogwarts
Time: The OWLs and summer holidays after Harry's fifth Hogwarts year
Place: Hogwarts
Format: Oneshot
Content: Hermione gets sick with the flubberworm measles right before her OWLs, which she can't miss of course. She hides it from everyone as long as possible. However, it is very contagious, and many students - at least all those living in Muggle areas - have to stay at Hogwarts during the holidays, even if they're not sick at the beginning of the holidays.
Conditions: The Flubberworm Measles: Symptoms are red pustules in form of worms moving over the skin beginning at the arms and legs. When they reach the throat they will cause breathing problems, other than that bad headaches and high fever. Lasts three weeks, incubation time three weeks. Might be deadly for Muggles.
Deadline: 30th of April, 2010 (will not be extended!).
