Loving Him Hurts

There's a story about girl and a boy,
They are truly the best of friends.
One says he'll be there for her for all eternity,
And the other one says she'll there for him till the end.

She loved him for a very long time,
But she knew he only sees her as a friend.
She could never accept that fact,
But she kept pondering about it every now and then.

She loves seeing him smiling,
She loves seeing him laugh.
She loves how he always seem to fool around,
But that's what made her love long last.

He was all she ever wanted,
Who always brighten up her day.
Every time those intense eyes look at her,
She forgets what she was suppose to say.

She knew she could never tear them apart,
The love between him and her best friend.
But loving him hurts her so much,
Just like a story finishes off with a "The End."

There are times where she thinks about her love,
And the mesmerizing moments they always shared.
She wishes her life would just have a happy ending,
Just like an ending of a fairy-tale.

He was sleeping soundly across the grass,

As she brushed a strand of hair away from his eyes,
