This is my alternate site, the normal penname that I write under is Gothic Lust. This profile will be dedicated to Kagome/Legolas pairings only. I've fallen in love with that pairing so much, that I think I need a whole new account to showcase it.

I'm posting a challenge here to all writers:

I am challenging you to write a Kagome/Legolas fanfiction. They're aren't many around so I'd like to see more so that way my community (Middle Earth: Legend of Miko and Elf) can grow.

The challenge is simple:

Pairing: Kagome Higurashi/ Legolas (He technically has no last name, and so would normally be called 'Legolas son of Thranduil'. Greenleaf is a direct translation of his name.)

Please note that Kagome does not have to originate from Earth or from Feudal Japan. I think it's best if she actually lived in Middle-earth, possibly as a human or as an elf.

Plot: I have yet to come up with one, or at least a starting point. I will try to come up with one and post it soon. If there are any suggestions feel free to PM me.

Rating: I say Teen, but if you wish, it can go higher (rated Mature). It's always safer to put it higher, there is more stretching room.

I would like to say that this story should be long, possibly 25 chapter or so, and every chapter roughly 6,000 words average.

I chose the name HeroInTheShadows because it seemed like such a different setting, a different feel to a penname and I wanted to sort of create my own world off of that.

Well so far I am only going to be reading and adding to my favs list. Soon I hope to post up some Fanfictions, but not just yet.

Just to start off a little bit about myself:

I am a five-foot three, eighteen year old female that loves metal and rock. I am the sort of gal that is more into her sci-fi books rather than gossip or drool over EVERY boy.

My writing as you will see later on is very sadistic and sad but mostly bittersweet. I do write the 'happy' endings every once in a while but don't expect pretty pink rainbows and galloping unicorns in my stories. No! I hate pink (most shades atleast), and the unicorn is so vastly over rated. I try to spin things off differently.

I don't believe in good versus evil. I have yet to see a true character in any story that does not have a heart. Yes that includes Naraku, Lord Voldemort and if you want toget down to the niddy griddy even Sesshomaru.

If you actually took the time to understand the plot of the story it is more or less the ideals of one against the other. There is truly no right or wrong. They fight for what they believe in and that is that. Now the topic of 'morally justified' is a different matter entirely.

I truly didn't want to bring up religion but in every god-worshiping sanction there is always a phrase that dictates the laws of man. The most common not to kill, steal or any of that such. In other words the common morals of every day society. I am personally agnostic, so if I do involve religion, I will keep it as realistic as possible--nah, I'll write what I want anyway. Just know that I mean no offense to any person(s) or religion(s).

In my writing I try to twist and blur that line of 'Good versus Evil' so that every character is equally appreciated and understood. Hell you may even love the 'bad guy.' I know I will...XD
