UPDATE: October 23, 2009 (man it had nearly been a year since I'd updated this thing lol) So in case you hadn't noticed: I've lately been thoroughly, utterly captivated by Karl Urban. OK, it's not just lately, but I've just been reminded of that lately, ala after Star Trek 09 came out and I went.. hey haven't I drooled over that guy before? That's my excuse for it, at least. So yeah, any story that I'm writing that features him will probably be updated far, far quicker than anything else. Sorry guys, but thems just the facts lol. So yeah, Doom, Bourne Supremacy, Star Trek 2009, Chronicles of Riddick: all of them are living in my head right about now.. It's a fun and scary place! Oh btw! I totally lucked out and have been adopted by my awesome beta Askita! She and I are actually co-writing a story "The Bourne Fallacy" which is posted here under my name. From November 1st to December 1st, I'm going to be MIA in my attempts to actually write 50k words in one month. And why yes, I'm probably crazy! Or at least some handy dandy fanfiction when all else fails! :) I'm a Texan by birth, and by heart and have never really wanted to live anywhere else. The way I figure it: we've got just about every possible climate and weather pattern here (and believe me, they change constantly), so at least I'll never be bored lol. As far as my favorite fandom/pairing list, I've finally decided to do the intelligent thing and just leave it out. I love to watch/read a lot of different shows/books/movies and honestly, as long as it's WELL WRITTEN, I'll read just about any pairing. But yeah, if you really want to know specifics: if I've written for it here, or reviewed it somewhere else- then it's a pairing I like lol. Music- If they play it.. I will come. I'm basically a music junkie. It's a sad state of being. Movies- If stuff blows up, boys get shirtless, or sharp pointy objects come into play.. I'm usually happy.. Shows- If Joss wrote it, I am there. Joss is boss. Period end of story. I do watch shows that he is NOT involved with, but all of his seem to be faves of mine lol. Books- anything by Mercedes Lackey, Robin McKinley, Nora Roberts, Jaqueline Carey, Tamora Pierce.. this list just goes on and on! Current Fics in Progress You Might be Wondering About: Handle ID Angel (Doom: Reaper/OC): This morphed from a one-shot into a (now nearly complete) story, that will even have a prequel and a Reaper!Bones sequel to follow. How the heck that happened.. I don't have a clue. lol. But considering it's becoming one of my most-reviewed/faved stories, I will DEFINITELY be sure to update the saga as often as I can! The Bourne Fallacy (Bourne trilogy: Kirill/OC): Newly commenced and being co-written with my awesome beta. I'm totaly excited to see where this goes frankly! Hawk Visions (King Arthur: Tristan/OC): This one has slammed to a halt, mostly because I figured out how it really should end in my head, but I don't wanna write it that way lol. If I can get past that self imposed block, all will be well. Until that day though, this is ON HOLD. Closest Thing to Family (Boomtown: David/OC): The plot on this one took a serious detour in my head (I blame the drunken muse) so the next few chapters are having to be tweaked/re-written to fit. ON HOLD One Shot Series in Progress (mostly just when I feel like playing around) Girl Talk (Tin Man: Sisterfic): This one is one of the few fics that I have no idea where it's going. I'd hoped to have it sort of follow a chronilogical story line the way Down the Road does, but I'm getting a bit stuck frankly. I'll continue it as the muse dictates: otherwise, I'd be up for suggestions! Case Studies (Medical Investigation): Much like Girl Talk, this has just been a 'fun fic,' in series form I have no really plot/plan/clue with this. I'll just continue to update as Lu tells me to.
