Be sure to update your links! :D Calling all Filipino Gakuen Alice fan fiction authors/readers! Just this 27th of November I had the most amazing chance to meet up with two of my friends and fellow writers from GAFFN, namely Jaz/bold.brunette and Risha/windlady. We've known each other for months, so we thought we'd meet up when we get our schedules cleared, and as it turned out, last 27th was our lucky day. Over muffins, macaronis and donuts (topped with a generous whip of my calculation/numbers-nerdness, which was most probably triggered by the Kenny Rogers gravy), we figured we should start a group in the GAFF section and perhaps make more friends and arrange more activities and fabulous get-togethers. It's actually all of windlady's genius, while bold.brunette and myself simply added our ideas to what she had come up with (she had them written down in a notebook; I tell you, she's terribly efficient at these things! :D). We've decided to call the group Amicus, a term meaning friend; it suits our cause the best. Following this, Risha has put up the Amicus Freedom Board, from where we've decided to start. At this point we only have ourselves as its members, but with enough hype and promotion, we hope to bring Filipino Gakuen Alice fan fiction authors/readers closer. Topping our priorities is actually setting up another get-together this Christmas break, and we're terribly curious to know if anyone would like to join us. There are several basic requirements to be able to join the group, although the most important is really just to be a Filipino currently residing in the Philippines. (Note: We're not discriminating anyone. This is just for get-together purposes.) We've also schemed a star ranking, whose conditions are stated in the forums. I've personally set the Amicus Freedom Board to private, so everyone can be sure that any vital information that she shares with us will be kept strictly to ourselves.
