Author has written 5 stories for Lion King, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Spyro the Dragon, and Avatar: Last Airbender.

In The Beginning...

There was a Jungle Boy...

When I was a little girl I used to watch the The Jungle Book on VHS so many times...then the tape busted. I watched the Lion King when I was barely old enough to comprehend disloyalty to one's leader, aggravated assault, and murder. Now that I am older I find myself fascinated by the very mature themes of a movie deemed 'for kids.' Granted, it's sequel was much more of a chick flick than the first...but that doesn't take away from the raw beauty I see in it.

I also find myself fascinated with the never ending battle between good an evil. When we seek out entertainment in films, there is always a hero, always a villain. But there is one thing I strive to answer in some of my favorite stories: why is the hero good? Why is the villain hell bent on destroying an otherwise perfect surreality?

Welcome to my mind.

Being Written:
An Avatar the Last Airbender: The Next Generation

Originally intended to be a short, one-shot-ish fiction that kind of got the better of me. It's a bit like Zutara carrying on into the generation after the Gaang, involving a tempermental Fire Bender, a trouble-making Air Bender, and a whole lotta Mama Drama. (Literally.) As its progressed, The Next Generation has turned more into a 'What If' than anything. Assuming that all wasn't well throughout the years following the end of Ozai's rule, a couple of key things have been changed, and not at all for the better.
Will contain future lemon, flash backs hinting at Zutara, Taang, and a lot of OCxOC lovin's as well as as much action as I can dredge up for you.
Its in the early drafting stages right now, with the first chapter being over 23 pages long in a Word Doc. file, still a heavy WIP. This is a bit of a challenge to write about forbidden romance and action packed thingers set in a world not too unsimilar from our own.

Edit/Notice: Alright, I hate to do this, but I'm going to modify the statement above. You should also all take into account that this is one of my first tries at and AtLA fanfiction before treating me like someone who's written more about the characters.

It's still a semi-one shot, still very much a work in progress. After I'm done with it, there won't be any continuations, there won't be any follow-ups. It happens during the lives of Katara and Aang's daughter and Zuko's son. I'm going to try and keep it humorous and realistic. A key character will be dead by the time the story takes place, not because I dislike the character, but because Azula is psychotic. It makes me sad that this character will not be there in present-day during the story, but it also poses a challenge to myself as a writer. How will the Gaang react? How will the kids cope? These are questions I intend to answer as I write this.
The flashbacks I mentioned will be during a one-year(possibly more than) period when, trying to find themselves as adults, the Gaang start to notice others. Because that's what teenagers do. But I'd like to repeat myself that the main female is the daughter of Katara and Aang, who were married for a couple of very happy years when she was born, and the main male character is Mai and Zuko's son. Who are also happily married to each other. Most of the Gaang will be in this fiction. A couple of individuals from the Gaang won't, again, not because I dislike the characters, but because I like to write about characters who are in extremely emotionally compromising situations. (It kills me that I'm having to do this because I've just spoiled a lot.)
It's still rated mature for future lemon, for some mild goriness, and foul language. I'm not writing this to offend anyone. I'm writing this for fun.
I've made mistakes with this already, and I'm not perfect. If I can help it, though, there won't be more. This isn't an apology. This is me explaining and correcting myself.

Thank you.
