I can't believe I've been in an industry that makes me no money for this long, but the reason why I keep writing is for the practice and my love of certain characters. I'm coming to a point in my fanfiction writing "career" where I think after finishing my current multi-chapters I'll only stick to one-shots as a fast writing exercise tool. I unfortunately have less time to write as I'm in my mid-twenties and real life is creeping up. It's not the same as when I was writing when I was 16. Series I write for: Rurouni Kenshin and Inuyasha are the ones I publish on here. I have written some for the Buffyverse (yes, I am a Joss Whedon fan), but I have never gotten the nerve to publish them. Maybe if there was interest? It’s chock full of terrible writing, accompanied by a generic plot, but it is what really taught me the do’s and don’ts of narrative writing) To have met you earlier: one-shot, complete (my first one-shot and I still have no idea how to keep things short. I know I’ll eventually look back on this fic and see it as a major turning point in my writing style) Remembering You: complete (some of the best narrative writing I have done is in this fic, to which I cringe at because it’s not that great. My style has changed drastically from the beginning and will only continue to mutate…) Streams of Our Consciousness: complete-ish (this is a experiment of sorts. I wanted to write 100-word drabbles, but didn't have a topic to write on. So, I decided I would write from the perspectives of different RK characters on the relationship that Kenshin and Kaoru share. I tried to write from perspectives that aren't completely mainstream. tell me what you think!) Quadrille of War: incomplete, on an indefinite hiatus (As much as I love this fic I need to rewrite most of the chapters I have up. I need to figure out the storyline and flow. Currently I cringe at the dialogue.) System Compatibility: incomplete, after 5.5 years of not writing a RK epic, I've come back to this fandom and I missed & love it (this fiction is an odd creature. it's about androids, government agencies, spies, assassins, and a study of what it means to be human. hopefully it's entertaining for at least a few people out there) Vignettes: I am currently going through an obsessively vignette cranking phase in writing. I have always come up with scenes I want to write, but not entire stories. So, I started just writing the scenes.
