Greetings, friends and neighbors on FFN! This is IamErik771, at your service.

Those of you who frequent "Phantom of the Opera"-related forums like The Phantom's Opera, PhantomoftheOpera.com, Deserted Phans, The Tiki Lounge, or the now-defunct PhantomFans/MusicalFans may have seen me around before. You may have also encountered me on other sites, under the username Toru771. As you may have guessed, I'm a huge "Phantom Phan." I also love other musicals including "Sweeney Todd," "Tanz der Vampire," "Les Misérables," "Jekyll & Hyde," and many more, as well as a wide range of films, comic books, TV shows, and video games. My hobbies include writing (of course), composing music, watching and making movies, and attempting to take over the world.

With regards to "Phantom," I consider myself a fan of all versions. There are some I prefer to others, of course – my favorites are the Leroux and Kay novels; the Webber and Alonso musicals; and the 1925, '89, '43, and '90 films – but I'll gladly pick up any new or hitherto unseen versions I can find. I finally got to see Webber's musical live in January 2009, and adored every minute of it.
