Story Stats: (Pretty much none of this is being worked on. I'll just keep my nice little rants, however.)

Black Rose: So, remember that bit of rant? *lolshitnobodydoesbecasuetheydonnotcareenough* Yeah. I'm putting BR on a bit of semi-permanant/permanant haitus. Why? Because I hate it. I started writing it in the sixth grade, before I (well, Little Miss Juliet, my friend) had even discovered FF. I was still new to the world of manga and anime then. Sure, I had watched the Dark Tournament Arc when it was airing on Maguzi, but that was before I even knew that YYH was originally from Japan and something called "anime" even existed. In that young & ignorant time, I quickly forgot that it even existed until my bloody amazing cousin Dark came to visit. There, in my grandparent's motorhome, she showed a volume of Shonen Jump magazine. And let me read it. Some self-realization followed that as my world quickly expanded. A few months later, Mother-dearest bought me the first volume of the manga.

But that pretty unimportant information. Basically, even with the re-write I attempted, too many parts of my first-ever fan-fiction are too cliché for my tastes. (Japanese "names" and Kara being Hiei's cousin to name a few.) Reading past reviews sort of throws my mind-set off, too. I've had a few *really* nice people tell me they enjoy the way I write fight scenes and that the story possessed originality [thanks to Darkness Engulfs Me]. One person [PainIsGood] even expressed honest distress over my hinting at Kara's death before the re-write. I express my gratitude towards you all for putting up with my crap. (Please, nobody tell me otherwise.) There is some hope for my finishing the story yet, as I dislike leaving things unfinished. So BR might be worked on from time to time, in an off-hand manner. To the few of you that might actually care (read between the lines: nobody): keep checking back. And take a look at my other stories.

The Beginning of Desire: I've entered a bit of a stalemate on this one. Going back and re-reading the manga series and re-watching the Dark Tournament arc a couple dozen times is absolutely required so I can better grasp Karasu's slightly eccentric personality. But the main issue here is time. There isn't enough of it. Between school, homework, studying, keeping up with friends and family . . . :/ And I sort of lost part of my plotline somewhere within the deep recesses of my mind~ (Observe Maniac, attempting ot be all poetic. And now she's referring to herself in third person. How wonderful.) I'll try my best to work on it, though. Even if Sacrificial Lambs (see below) and rp'ing on MNI are occupying my mind at the moment.
