Author has written 83 stories for Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Brothers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pokemon, Harry Potter, Fire Emblem, Count Cain: God Child, Resident Evil, Sukisho, Rurouni Kenshin, and Code Geass.

Jayden und Verwelkt is of the female variety of homo sapiens. From New Jersey, United States, and contrary to what television says, she doesn't talk like anyone from The Sopranos. Currently a senior in high school. Also has a girlfriend of a year named Juni, who she met through fandom. She is an avid reader and has been reading since she was three. Her favourite book is Catcher in the Rye. She also loves to write, from poetry to fanfiction to originals. The majority of the things she writes are slash fanfictions, usually in the video games category, though she has since branched out to a few anime and manga fandoms. She is most active in the Fire Emblem and Super Smash Brothers sections. She tends to lurk in the Gundam Wing section a lot, though, and sometimes goes poking around in various other fandoms, like Code Geass, where the debate over whether or not Lelouch is dead makes her laugh hysterically.

She mostly writes general/romance, angst, angst/romance, and something with humor as the genre somewhere. For a list of fandoms she writes for, please go here. Also make use of her pairings list. She updates them whenever she adds another fandom to her belt.

Just because she doesn't write for a pairing, doesn't mean she doesn't read it. She'll read anything providing the author writes it well. Her guilty pleasure is Heero/Duo, but only well-written Heero/Duo.

She also fangirls Midorikawa Hikaru, Koyasu Takehito, and Fukuyama Jun. If you saw her list of favourite anime, it's guaranteed that at least two of them is in there, usually Midorikawa and Koyasu. Midorikawa is her Marth, Koyasu is her Zechs, and Jun is her Roy (even though most know him as Lelouch from Code Geass - he was talented before then, kiddies). To a lesser extent, she also fangirls Hiyama Nobuyuki (her voice of Link), Sakurai Takahiro, Narita Ken (aka Orenji-kun), and Miyata Kouki. Yes, those are in order, with a gap in between Jun and Nobuyuki for Okiayu Ryoutarou, because Jayden almost forgot him somehow.

Music is a big part of her life, and as a result, the majority of her fanfictions were influenced by music in one way or another. Her upcoming work in progress Who I Am Hates Who I've Been, for example, was influenced by a Relient K song. Torn was influenced by a Seabound song of the same name, and it goes on. All of her extracurricular activities also revolve around music. She is involved in her school's chorus, also involved with a small vocal ensemble run by her chorus teacher, and she is also involved in musical. She loves to perform for people, and the stage is practically her second home. To a lesser extent, she also likes to act, but mostly behind a microphone, not in front of an audience (her secret passion is voice acting - Gundam Wing was what inspired her, and it was the original version, not the dub).

She is fluent in Japanese, is currently in her school's Japanese programme, is learning Korean, German, and some Swedish, she has a love-hate relationship with French, and she writes like a Brit. Oh, and she loves accents.

11/01/09: Just a little note that I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this year, which means I write a 50,000 novel on...something. In a month. Pretty exciting if you're in the right mood.

08/07/09: Oh man, if only the month and day switched, then it'd be 07.08.09 (hahaha). Anyway, I'd just like to take a moment right now to thank all of my readers and reviewers. Though I do write for myself (and post it all over the internet), I share my work because it makes me happy, so I want others to be happy reading it as well. I do read all of the reviews I get, and I respond to them at my personal journal, but who really reads that? (Probably more people than I realise.) But I do read all of them, and even if they just say "update soon!" or "Wow, I really liked this!" or even gave me concrit or just told me "I really liked the ending," I appreciate the time you took out of your day (five seconds, five minutes, five hours, whatever) to read and review my work. I'm glad to know that it's worth sharing it because then, well, at least someone reads it other than myself and five of my friends. So really. Thank you. I appreciate the support.

Jayden und Verwelkt would like to announce that she only warns for triggers in her fanfictions. A trigger might be incest or rape or child abuse or anything that may be considered extremely traumatic and cause everlasting damage to a person's psyche, like attempted suicide or things like self-injury.
