Hello there and welcome to the fourth version of my FF.Net Profile. I'll get the parts about me out of the way first, as you can see my name is James Moorehead and I was born on the 30th December 1987, that makes me 18 years old at the time of writing this. I'm a Student and I'm currently studying Computer Games Programming at the University of Teesside, I'm a member of AniCom there which is their Animation & Comics Society and it's a lot of fun the people who run it are great people. As I said I'm studying Computer Games Programming which means I have an interesting in Computer Gaming. My first experience with computer games was with the Amiga over 13 years ago, I then moved onto the Playstation then the PS2 and now I own an Xbox 360. As for handhelds I own a PSP but only really use it for homebrew and emulation.

My other interests are music I am a huge Pink Floyd fan and a huge fan of Meat Loaf. Other bands I like are Bon Jovi, Dream Theater, Opeth, The Delgados, Iron Maiden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Dire Straits, Guns N Roses and Metallica. I lean more towards the Rock and Metal side of things but I will listen to most things at least once. I also like Anime Soundtracks and frequently listen to the Evangelion OST's and the .hack//SIGN OST's. Not so much an OST but I'm also a big fan of an album by a guy called Jeff Wayne and it's the Musical Version of The War Of The Worlds.

As far as Television and Movies go I'm obviously an Anime Fan which I'll get onto later. I'm a fan of Lost, The X Files, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek Voyager, Only Fools And Horses and theres more but I could be here all day. Movies I'm a fan of are The Rocky Horror Show, Pink Floyd - The Wall, Star Trek First Contact, Snakes On A Plane and many others.

As far as Anime goes I have been a fan of Anime for just under a year and a half, my favorite show is Neon Genesis Evangelion but I also enjoy .hack//SIGN, Gunslinger Girl, RahXephon, Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Genshiken, Noir, Elfen Lied, Full Metal Panic and Fullmetal Alchemist. As I've said my favorite show is Evangelion, there are many reasons for this at first I loved the idea of the big robots and such but as the series progressed it became more about the characters. It provoked emotions in me and that's something no other show has really achieved.

I write Evangelion Fanfiction which you'll probably know if you're looking at this profile. My first piece is called Strange New Worlds it revolves around a bizarre idea I had for a Post 3I fic, essentially the concept was that while Third Impact was occurring a planet far away had been obliterated leaving only a few survivors and their ship. The two groups meet up and it goes from there. It is a very hard concept to summarize and is something that you'll probably have to read for yourself to really fully understand, it sounds really weird and stupid but it all makes sense.

My second fanfic is a piece of work called Conspiracy, this was born while I was watching the X Files, again it's a very bizarre idea. This one is an AU Piece and it revolves around the idea that NERV is a similar agency to the FBI and Shinji and Asuka are Agents of NERV. With it being an AU Piece all the characters are slightly different but it has all the same characters from Eva and revolves around the same concepts such as the Angels, Project E but I'm just doing it in a different way.

I'm also developing a series of oneshots that well I guess you could consider them Evangelion/Star Trek cross overs but not in the way you'd imagine. It revolves around a question I once posed to a few friends who would win NERV or The Borg, so someone had the idea for someone to write a fanfic being the idiot I am I accepted the challenge and wrote it. I don't consider it the best thing i've ever done, it's decent but not brilliant I consider Conspiracy to be my greatest achievement. Anyway the way the Borg got into the Eva Universe was through an entity called Q (Any Trek fans out there know just how fun Q is) so the series will revolve around Q appearing in the Eva Verse. The first one with the Borg was obviously very serious the next one i'm going to try to make it more comedic but we'll see how it goes.

All fanfics aren't amazing pieces of work but I do work hard on them and I am proud of them. If anyone reading this does happen to read one please be sure to let me know your thoughts on it. I'm always looking to improve and get better at writing and peoples feedback really helps with that. I'm not trying to create the greatest piece of work known to fanfiction community but I'll just be happy in the knowledge that people enjoy my work.
