My favorite series are as follows: Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon; Shojo Kakumei Utena; Fake; Gravitation; Fruits Basket; Card Captor Sakura; Tsubasa RESERvoir CHRoNiCLE; xxxHOLiC; Legal Drug; Tokyo Babylon; X; Neon Genesis Evangelion; and various others. In terms of non-anime/manga series, I like Harry Potter (goes without saying); Chronicles of Narnia and most other C.S. Lewis books; Lord of the Rings and assorted Tolkien works (I've actually read the Silmarillion three times); (most of ) The Sword of Truth (okay, we get it, socialism is bad); most of Orson Scott Card's books (even if I think many of his religious opinions are hogwash to say the least) and the Valdemar books by Mercedes Lackey (she's not the greatest writer in the world, but her stories are great nontheless); and last but not least Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Warning: I am far more likely to spend time reading a story rather than writing my own, so don't expect a lot of eloquence from my keyboard.
