Author has written 47 stories for South Park. Well howdy there, South Parkateers! The name's John, better known by my pen name JVM-SP150, and I'm an on-and-off fanfiction writer for the Comedy Central animated series South Park, for the past five years now in fact. I've written probably over seventy stories in my tenure, most of which have been removed from this FanFiction.net account due to being old, offensive, unwanted or lacking reviews. I got started here in November 2006 and ever since then have been an almost constant presence around here, although I'm sure it doesn't seem it. As of December 2011, I'm back in the loop - as unsure of this fandom as I continue to be. I don't post half as often as I once did, but I keep up. I don't read as much as I used to though, probably because the overall quality just keeps going down the tubes. I'm a bit of a cynic - sorry if I see things for what they are! :P On the topic of the show itself, my favorite characters are Kenny McCormick, Wendy Testaburger, Stan Marsh, Kevin Stoley, Pip Pirrup, the entire McCormick family, and Dr. Alfonz Mephesto. I can name pretty much every character and feel every character, even fan creations, have something to offer to the South Park universe. My favorite episodes are primarily newest and oldest: "An Elephant Makes Love to a Pig" (#105) "Conjoined Fetus Lady" (#205) "Cartman Joins NAMBLA" (#406) "Kenny Dies" (#513) "Professor Chaos" (#606) "The List" (#1114) "201" (#1406) "Mysterion Rises" (#1412) "You're Getting Old" (#1507) and "The Poor Kid" (#1514) My least favorite episodes of the show are "Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow" (#908) "More Crap" (#1109) "Ass Burgers" (#1508) and "Cartman Finds Love" (#1607) My favorite authors on here are Mad_Cow5678 and NoseBridgePinch - if you like the McCormick family, Mad_Cow is definitely the best writer for them, especially considering she accurately predicted Karen McCormick's entire personality before "The Poor Kid" ever aired. Then NoseBridgePinch, meanwhile, uses practically the entire cast of the series in a bunch of fantastic fics, although Stan and his family often get singled out for special attention. Both write well-crafted, excellent stories, with character development and humor, and I'm pleased to say both are frequent collaborators on my work, not to mention great friends. To clear some air - for the record, I used to have several South Park original characters, most of which have been retired outside of role-plays and private fanfiction, and while I agree there's a great overpopulation of original characters and think most of them are mediocre, or worse, shitty, I think this fandom needs to get it's head out of the sand and stop acting so damn elitist and stuck-up about them. Using canon characters does not make you cooler than someone who uses original characters. There are original characters in this fandom who predate main characters like Craig Tucker and Token Black. So, I support original characters, even if most of them suck. I'd like to take this portion of my profile to officially apologize to the slash authors I have been so rude to in my time in the fandom. After Season Sixteen's began, I've realized I just have not been a really cool dude about it all. There's a big line between disagreeing with someone's beliefs and being intolerant, and frankly I've crossed that line too many times to count. I'm sorry for being such an elitist asshole about it, and I will try my best in the future to respect your beliefs. I am working to overcome my problems in this area - although, however, don't expect me to actually go reading slash any time soon. Just because I respect it now doesn't mean I like it.
