Profile Update and Clean-Up (Because I'm suddenly inspired at the worst of timings)

This is kageNOhikari8 (but commonly known as just kageNOhikari by everyone else, IRL or OL). I am a self-proclaimed author-in-training and a trying hard pessimist. I originally joined FFdotNet to review stories that do not allow anonymous reviewers. And because I am not like those people, I will allow anyone and everyone to review me (might not care whether it's flame or spam but might track you down because I have friends in high places and eyes you can't even imagine where).

In advance, I want to ask for forgiveness regarding non-Beta stories, experimental stories that will be suddenly left alone to rot for years, grammatical errors, confusing flow construction, verbose-with-no-plot-update chapters, slow updates, sudden revisions and broken promises. It can't be helped since I have far more important priorities. I consider writing my haven, escaping the real world even just a moment, playing as god even only for a second. And writing serves as a good distraction for me.

Reviews will be addressed personally and individually thru PM's and/or replies because I think as each reviewer as one unique person that I cherish and admire enough to not publicized my reply. Not trying to hit anyone in particular

I write in all genres but only with selected series and pairings. There are pairings I avoid and series I would rather die than watch.

I am a mood-driven author. There's a term for this, was it called 'muse'? DON'T expect me to use such a term. Inspiration comes when it comes and goes when it goes. Sometimes my inspiration is something tangible therefore whenever I'm out of synch, I'll just go find that tangible inspiration. Much understandable with the following example: My SasuSaku Parent Trap is inspired from the Parent Trap movie. Everytime I lose inspiration, I'll just watch the movie again and I'm hyped back.

I am a hard core yaoi fan who also supports real-life yuri. Anime yuri is just disgusting and unreal. Expect yaoi from me but there will be more heterosexual pairings because I'm not too keen on writing male-to-male action. Unfortunately, I despise Naruto Yaoi and Yuri. That is the only show that haven't been tainted by my dirty homosexual imagination. And no, you can't fix that.

Another thing: I usually write some sort of chapter 1 with new stories then leave them untouched for several months or years, le gasp. This is because I am planning and new stories are just experiments for me. I write them because they're stuck in my head and I can't think straight until I transferred them to paper. I usually finish old stories first before continuing new. In Parent Trap's case, And the Darkness Fled is begging for a revise and since PT is almost finished, ADF is second priority.

(As of 5/28/09) Summer is almost at an end. I was working hence the no updates from all of my fanfiction works. Be surprised though, something is bound to happen later or tomorrow don't slack too much kNh. Anyways, I have a new series coming up but unless reception is good, I may or may not continue it. I'm fed up with my lack in talent. When I need help, I need help in expressing my writing capabilities and not someone to tell me "You should let Character A date Character B" or "Character C should be the enemy!". I decide who is who but I am not good at having who portray his role.

Regardless, I am still happy at the number of reviews my story gets albeit insignificantly small than other works. depressedIt's better than no reviews right? Oh yah, my new story will be in the CLAMP fandom because those girls manage to trap me in their intricate web of angsty characters and complicated storylines.

AND I'M STILL DEPRESSED.
