Author has written 29 stories for Degrassi. I randomly remembered that I indeed still had an ff net account and decided to check up on it. I still receive reviews and alerts on my email from people still reading my stories and I wanted to thank everyone who is out there still reading my work as if I'd never left. That means a great deal to me and I find myself stupidly flattered and embarrassed. Thank you all. However, on that note, I'm not really sure if I'm going to be back. I might but all of the Degrassi stuff I've written since then (not a lot) has been put on livejournal instead. I write more for myself these days you could say. Because I'm sure everyone in this section who like Darco already knows that the series has nothing left to offer. Every bit of interaction we could hope for seems to have been sucked out of it. No one's sure if it will ever come back. And let's face it, I'm going to be a die hard Darco shipper until the day I die, whether I write about it or not. I still have lots of plot bunnies in my head but I don't know if they'll ever reach fruition. Nowadays I'm almost completely focused on my original worlds because they're really important to me and they don't die off because of what some person in an office building in Toronto decides. And quite frankly, I love the characters that come straight out of my head just as much as Marco. In closing, I'm sorry to leave everybody hanging really. It's a pretty crappy thing to do and I know sometimes your fandom really is your life. In my case, it was, and now I've got other things to keep me occupied. If you want to periodically check my livejournal for degrassi updates then I hope you find what you're looking for.
