6/30/09: OMG! Are you kidding me?! The nominations for Superman Movieverse Awards just went up and I'm not even going to say how many of the fics were on there! I'm overwhelmed! The run-off ballot was posted earlier today, so we'll know the final ballot shortly. Regardless of how we do, I want you all to know that we love you madly for your support and all of the happiness your reviews give us. We may not be able to respond back to reviews often, but know that they motivate us to make the experience all the more fun for you! We love you all for this!

6/18/09: As little as I like to do it, this week's chapter is going to be delayed due to misreading a deadline for 12 Days of Clois, the fact that we had little computer access while on vacation, and the fact that I have to get nominations in for The Superman Movieverse Awards. The good news is that there will be a Snapshots oneshot, The Glow of Embers After, coming up this weekend to make up for the fact. The next Heirs chapter is more than half done, but the most important scenes still need to be filled in and we just couldn't have gotten it in in time for it to be the quality you're used to. Expect it here next weekend. Promise.

6/14/09: Two very quick updates before we rush out for a brief vacation here in KLK-land. One, we have a new Original Reeve-verse oneshot available for Oxoniensis' 'Porn Battle' over at Dreamwidth, Whispers in the Dark, but the document uploader has been unavaible here at FF for a good portion of the day. I'm hoping it will be back up when we leave for Orlando in the morning. but we'll be taking the laptop with us, so I'll put it up tomorrow night if I have to. Keep you eyes peeled.

Also, Ms. Rizny used up some of her free time before her college graduation (WITH HONORS!) to put together the second fanmix together for Heirs, Careful What You Wish For. All of the songs listed in this set are either the inspiration for the most current chapters or one coming up shortly.

4/02/09: Thanks to the complete awesomeness that is the one and only Rizny, she has taken the time out of her busy schedule to make for us the first of the Heirs to the House of El fanmixes, Precious and Fragile Things, to go with the newly-finished Act One: Teenagers. 3/14/09: The chapter is ready to post, but we've been having upload issues today with FF. Hoping to get it in to you before the evening is over if we can get it to allow us to. Barring tonight, I'll attempt to load it before work tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Please keep an eye out.

3/05/09: An update for those that wanted to kill me over the weekend! Your patience in waiting for the chapter made it possible for me to meet Ms. Kidder (OMFGYAY! You can see pics and details at my LiveJournal account) and I am a happy and inspired writer now. So inspired that I have some news for you. Good and bad news, actually The good news? Last week's chapter is going to be on time when we post this weekend as promised. The bad news? You're getting more bang for your buck with two smaller chapters with an interim coming next weekend.

Chapter Ten, Turkey and Tinsel, is just around 4,500 words and eight pages. Chapter Eleven is ...And the Typical Trouble and it's around 5,400. And this will close out Act One. The interim chapter will follow next weekend, followed by Five Minutes to Midnight either the same weekend or our next posting week. I'll be adjusting the title setups to reflect what's next soon, so don't be alarmed if the 'Act One' title appears some place. I'm just setting things up for Act Two. :D

Everyone ready to keep their eyes and ears wide open? Good, because you all remember LS' subtitle, don't you? Nothing is ever what it seems.

ETA: Ms. Rizny was able to find the time yesterday to finished the third and final disk in the Little Secrets Fanmix, so I present it to you here. Next up is Heirs to the House of El (although there are mixes planning for all three of our (past and) current series. An easy link to all three soundtracks can be found here.

2/25/09: Due to the fact that Ms. Lois can't manage to juggle a visit from the heads of the business in her place of employment (which means that I'm having to do top to bottom cleaning in Harmon until Thursday), meeting Margot Kidder at MegaCon on Saturday (if I don't pass out from nerves before then; although I do get a lovely three-day vacation out of it), and trying to get the Muses to calm down long enough of the chapter to be a manageable size, we're going to have to hold the next chapter of Heirs to the House of El for another week. I'm not pleased with the fact, but I refuse to give you guys anything that isn't quality just because I've been busy. Forgive me? Expect to see it 3/7.

12/24/08: The issue with the latest oneshot, Little Secrets Snapshots: All I Want For Christmas, is resolved. I was trying to do two things at once before bed, which you shouldn't do when you've worked the last full shopping day of the season and it's 4 AM. It doesn't matter how excited you are; don't even try it, especially when your eyes are closing. So apologies to all and it is updated! Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to all of those out there in FF-Land! And a happy early Kwanzaa, as well!

12/14/08: I apologize to those of you expecting a chapter this week. The combination of my birthday on December 11, wild hours at work because of the upcoming Christmas holidays, and other nonsense have put us back several days. We expect to have the chapter out and betaed by the end of this week and posted on Saturday. We were hoping to make up that week we missed, but it seems that it just isn't going to happen. Rest assured, you will have it by next weekend. :D Promise.

11/29/08: A tiny bit of bad news for this week. Due to the combo of just returning from vacation and Thanksgiving (not to mention my working Black Friday and Sunday for a combined 16.5 hours in two shifts), we're going to have our first postponement for Heirs. We won't have the new chapter up today, but plan to get it to you by mid-week this coming week. The chapter following it should still be posted at its scheduled time. We're nearly done, but are just not happy with a few sections and want to beef them up before we present them.

Also, we signed up today for our third straight year of the 12 Days of Clois Christmas Challenge and plans are to write up the Infamous Christmas Party in the pre-LS Snapshots 'verse. This, of course, is the party that occured only a few weeks before the 'Niagara Incident' in SII (yes, our continuity had SII happen in January.) We're both very excited about this and all of the plans that we've added to the notes for Heirs since the vacation. Things are going to get really interesting in the new year here at KLK. Wait for it. ;)

10/18/08: IAL ended last weekend with wonderful reviews! We're both thrilled that it was so well-recieved! We were both a little nervous about some of the changes we made from the films, but I guess we did okay. :D The final installment to Thanks for the Memories has been begun, but I doubt we'll see it before New Years, due to the amount of challenges we're currently involved in. There's a writer's fic exchange at 12 Days for next month and the Christmas challange, as well. It would make sense to do it there, but we might just be doing an entry from Snapshots there. We're waiting to see. And add to this that we're writing Heirs, too.

My life: somewhat organized chaos at its best. At its worst? Let's not talk about it.

10/05/08: The final installmentof In Another Lifetime, Until The End, will be posted next Friday, along with the long-awaited second entry to the So Close AU, Thanks for the Memories to close out our prompts for the Clois 100 over at 12 Days. The IAL universe has been a joy to write and you guys have been fantastic in the love you showered on this little series. Maybe we'll revisit it with a oneshot down the road. Maybe a holiday one at some point. I know I'd like to. :D And we still have plans for a final entry to the So Close AU, although it's been pretty fussy with us.

No plans to open any new storylines for the next little while since we have so much to do for both post-LS oneshots and Heirs. Expect several of the tales harkened back to in Heirs to possibly show up in oneshots. Goodness knows that we've had enough requests to see the Infamous Christmas Party in the Snapshots series... ;)

9/20/08: Heirs is here! The introduction and first prologue are both up now and will be followed by Jason's in two weeks. The schedule is bi-weekly this time around to make sure we are posting the best possible edit and that we don't exhaust ourselves this time. ;) Enjoy, all! We're just getting started!

9/6/08: It's going to be a busy next few weeks here at FF.net, as the Clois 100 is ending on LJ on October the 10. We have five more prompts to post for that and Heirs will be kicking off in the next few weeks. And for those of you keeping score, we're 2,000 words into Thanks for the Memories. It's good time to be a reader, after all these breaks we've had, huh? -grins-

8/31/08: The official start date of Heirs to the House of El is September 20. Stay tuned to this channel and my LJ for all of the upcoming fun. Also, the popular In Another Lifetime series will return starting Septmber 1st with the final arc of the storyline.

5/10/08: Hiatus over! Weeeee're baaaack! ;) Plenty planned for the next few months, with Heirs to the House of El planned to go live at the end of Summer 2008. Until then, there will be oneshots from the In Another Lifetime (alternate take on SII) universe and the So Close (alternate take on the events following SIII) universe, as well as oneshots that fill in the gaps between Little Secrets and Heirs.
