Author has written 2 stories for Phantom of the Opera, and Series Of Unfortunate Events.

Katrina Kay

Hello for the first time, or if this is a return visit, hello again! Much thought and planning goes into my work, as evidenced by the long gaps of time in between updates when writer's block strikes (it can be months!) or when I have too much schoolwork (I'm a sophomore in college, working towards an English major and professional writing & marketing minors so as to go into publishing.)

Please feel free to tell your friends and leave reviews about my work but keep it constructive - I can always use insight and ideas concerning my writing style/content. Reviews let me know what works and what does not work so well, LOL - and of course lets me know that there are readers out there! Feel free to send me a note/email if there is a certain book, movie, etc. that you think I would write well about, or if you have any plot ideas for the next update of a story! I read all the time and watch a LOT of movies, so I have a lot of possibilities for new stories floating around in my head.

Enjoy!

Cheers, Katrina

My Favorite Pairings

aSoUE Violet/Olaf

Artemis Fowl Artemis/Holly (possibly confirmed by "The Time Paradox"??)

Harry Potter Tom/Ginny (or pretty much, whatever pairings were in Cassandra Claire's Draco Trilogy before she took it offline.)

Peter Pan Hook/Wendy

Abarat Christopher Carrion/Candy Quakenbush

House House/Cameron

BtVS Buffy/Spike (well, maybe a bit of Buffy/Angel)

V For Vendetta V/Evey (I really wish this relationship had been more developed in both the graphic novel and the movie, but alas.)

Batman Joker/Harley or Joker/OC (if done correctly, of course.)

BonesBrennan/Booth (I wish this would just happen already, LOL!)

There are more that I can't think of right now, but pretty much any confirmed pairings (i.e. Darcy & Elizabeth in 'Pride and Prejudice', Bella & Edward in 'Twilight') I pretty much agree with so I won't list those. No hating for my silly imagination, though, please :)

News

10/22/09 - Finally, chapter 10 of Intrigue is online and ready for your reading pleasure! My workload is still crazy but I'm writing when I can, not sure when the next update will be but I'll try my best to get the next part either of Intrigue or Ulterior Emotions posted.

9/7/09 - I made myself a new icon from scratch, hope you like it! So despite a crazy schedule as an RA and honors student, I've been able to work on a bit of Intrigue - I'm about half done with the next chapter, which really gets to the climax of the story (the turning point!) And if anyone out there is still reading Ulterior Emotions, it will eventually be updated as well - I've just been overwhelmed by the active response to my ASoUE fanfic (reviewing would definitely let me know you're interested in the next update, hint hint.) Keep an eye out, everyone, updates are coming! :)

8/3/09 - Next chapter of Intrigue is up and available for your reading pleasure! Enjoy, and please review to let me know what you think! Thanks to everyone for sticking with me and my story!

6/8/09 - Sorry about the lack of updates, everyone! I've been super busy working almost 40 hours a week and getting settled in back at home from college. I'm going to try and work on both of my stories on my days off but updates will be a lot more sporadic than during the school year. But please keep checking for updates, because they will eventually arrive. Thanks for sticking with me!
