Author has written 18 stories for Artemis Fowl, Naruto, Teen Titans, Hellsing, Prince of Tennis, Gunslinger Girl, and Black Lagoon. The stories I mostly deal with would be the ones dealing with the development of trust, relationships (platonic, romantic), or emotions. Friendship is a key element in my fics, but none more so than my Teen Titans ones...because isn't Raven just tragic? And isn't fandom's pity party for her just so exasperating? On that note, I adore well developed friendships. Although I love reading pairings and romance and their ilk, from the worst and tasteless of smut to the cheesiest of canon love, the site is littered with lots half-hearted fics that exist solely for the sake of romance. Poorly portrayed, slapdash romance, at that; how can you have a devoted relationship between two people without that base of developing trust? Not to mention realism. I can't stand the stories that are incredulous fairytales. My older brother is psy001098121, whose many years in theater has taught him the value of character development, seeing as how playwrights work with nothing but characters. He's my greatest inspiration, and his scrutiny of characters has rubbed off on me. | |||||
