Author has written 3 stories for Stargate: SG-1. I'm English, and I love reading, writing, music, art and watching films -- generally, I just love stories and imagery (hence why I spend hours of my spare time on fanfiction.net). I take special interest in characterisation, and how different characters' experiences, relationships and personalities shape each of them to be indiviudal as they move on to new situations in life. So I really ought to mention that I'm a bit of a Psychology-freak. :) I'd probably be categorised as a "fantasy folk" in the sense that I'm entranced by anything queer, magical or unrealistic. To put it in simple terms, whatever goes on inside my head undoubtedly takes place in another world! I also adore anything or anyone with a brilliant sense of humour. Simultaneously, especially if it's a story, there has to be a serious undercurrent running through the plot. And a spankin' good bit of fictional romance is just the icing on the cake for me. My prime interests, fandom-wise: Lord of the Rings; Harry Potter; the Abhorsen series (Garth Nix); His Dark Materials (Philip Pullman); Stargate SG-1; and for a new addition, the TV show "Lost". Richard Dean Anderson-- I could watch him as Jack O'Neill forever! And most importantly, I'm a major Sam/Jack shipper. ;) I think I'm just about summed up now. :) xx | |||||||
