Instead of a bio, I'll share some advice: I firmly believe that in order to write you have to do three things: observe, perceive, and, above all else, read--voraciously and indiscriminately. Learn to learn from other people's mistakes, and actively seek criticism, both good and bad--you will go all the further for it. Oh yes, and make your characters suffer.

Labyrinth: Immortal Love

My first completed fanfic. This tells the story of what happened after the movie. Jareth left her the ability to see the Goblins, and he visits her in her dreams, slowly seducing her over the intervening years.

Shove's Story

Revisits the same timeline as Immortal Love, but from the view point of the goblin Jareth assigns to watch over Sarah. Currently incomplete.

Dangers Untold

This takes place after Immortal Love and Shove's Tale, and picks up from Immortal Love's cliffhanger ending. Sarah and Jareth are trapped by the Labyrinth and forced to run its most dangerous path. With thirteen days between them and the castle, it becomes a race against time and magic. Currently incomplete.

Complete. On Sarah's New Year's Eve birthday she accidentally makes a wish. But when the Goblin King shows up, things don't go quite the way she expected. For one thing, she never expected to be the one who had to grant his wishes!

The Price of Dreams

Oneshot. Complete. Based on Pika-la-cynique's image of a crystal ball and a feather on Sarah's desk. This story delves into a dreamy, artistic Sarah's POV after a dream arrives on her desk. The writing style in this one is much different from my other stories. I like to think of it as my Nabokovian fic.

Pirates of the Caribbean Stand Alones and One Shots:

Crewed by the Damned

Oneshot. Complete. This short one shot takes place between Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, and deals with Elizabeth's feelings after the events on the doomed Black Pearl.

In the Belly of the Beastie

Oneshot. Complete. Also takes place between DMC and AWE. Here we discover exactly how Jack gets from the Pearl to the Locker, in typical Jack fashion. Please note, I wrote this story long before AWE came out or even before rumors of it came out. If my vision of the Locker is similar to how it actually turned out to be... well, it's a lucky coincidence.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

West of the Moon, East of the Sun

Currently updating every few days! EPIC length. Every day Buffy Summers spends juggling the pressures of being both a nineteen year old girl and the Slayer: college, family, friends, insecure boyfriends, demon slayage, irritating vampires, and saving the world. Every night, however, she spends in a pitch dark room, with a big bed, and a strangely silent vampire whose face she cannot see...

What's Coming...

I've always been a little embarrassed about the fact that I lost so much steam on Dangers Untold and Shove's Tale. It bothers me a great deal that they're not finished... and even more so because I'm not sure when they ever will be. I'd like to hope that someday I'll be able to go back and finish them, but in the meantime, I have other stories that I want to tell.

Because of my experience with those two stories, however, my personal philosophy is to not post stories until they're either finished, (or so close to it they might as well be). This means that there will sometimes be huge long gaps between me posting new stories. However, on the other hand, when I *do* post a new story, you can pretty much be assured that it will update regularly, and it will be completed.

I do want to reassure my readers, however, that I *am* still writing. With plans to continue writing for some time to come. Real life gets in the way sometimes, but when the writing bug bites, it bites HARD.

Right now I'm working on a few things:

West of the Moon, East of the Sun (see above) - Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This story is nearly complete, but at over 300,000 words long, I've already begun to post the early chapters.

Dust - Buffy the Vampire Slayer - currently I'm only tinkering with and outlining this story. It's about four chapters long.

Unlikely Ways - Labyrinth - This novel length fic is 3/4 finished, and I've hit a rough spot. I'm hoping to finish it sometime by the end of the year. But I said that last year, so... grain of salt.

Complications - Pirates of the Caribbean - This novella length fic is still only a few chapters in and will have to wait til I get back on a Pirates kick to be fully fleshed out.
