Heart's Desire in the Serpent's Charm Drenched in sweat as I peer at the figure lying on the table, I am forced to hold myself lest I were to heave the remainder of ill-gotten meal upon this newly christened corpse. My hands work feverishly as I dabble in the arts of reconstruction, while my mind plays tricks and wanders about, pondering how I found myself in this dank pit so far underground... My thoughts, however, are broken by the single mysterious light in this hellish despair of a snake's den. With a glinting smile and a mysterious gaze behind tinted frames, hot breath at my neck, a slight tickle at my side as I am embraced, my mind slips in the blissful lingering and I quickly forget my train of thought, mindlessly working as I remain a slave to my heart.

That's a poem my nii-san, Kata, did for Kori. It fits her so well. After I read it the first time I was blushing. Amazing how much I am actually like my character. But the focus is on nii-san here not me. He's an amazing poet, a true artist when it comes right down to it. The other two stories I have posted are actually for one of the novels on my site, as mentioned above. -points to pretty link- Magickal is one of my obsessions/passions at the moment, I have it maybe... 3-4/6 of the way done. Maybe. Depends on how much more 'secret' info there is that I don't even know... -sigh- my characters mess with me sometimes. In any case, here is a preview/summary for Magickal:

"I don't want to see Shinrin die... I'll do anything I can to stop that from happening..." Yuki's words as she wakes up from another one of her horrid nightmares about the young man she's grown to care for. Ever since seeing him being beat in that first dream, she's determined to do anything she can to save him. With only her brother, Katashi, on her side, chances seem slim. Especially with the nightmares Katashi's having also. A demon from the past that's after Yuki, who will do anything to stop her from saving Shinrin. As Yuki and Katashi both struggle with their own problems, Yuki's dreams and increasing depression; and Katashi's nightmares, along with an unknown ailment that is slowly killing him; Shinrin struggles through life with an abusive mother and dreams of a girl he doesn't even know. Once Yuki and Shin end up finding each other, the problems grow worse. The demon that is slowly taking Katashi away from the world of the living grows more powerful. Their only choice is to go back to Lucus's time and defeat him there. But what is the price to pay to get back to that time...?
