Poll: I'm at some sort of crossroads and wondering where I should go now: Which type of tone should Blossoming of a Leaf take on from now on? Note: That doesn't mean I'm gonna go with the majority or anything. I just want an idea of what genre you think my sto Vote Now! |
Author has written 11 stories for Naruto, Warehouse 13, Castle, and Fire Emblem. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-. NOTE TO MY READERS .-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- I know some of you have grown to love my writing. And I am very appreciative of all the good comments I received. But truth be told, as much as I love the InoSaku pairing, Naruto has become more than boring to me. I've now switched over to the Warehouse 13 fandom, and am also planning on a short songfic with Castle :) Stay tuned! I can't promise any frequent updates, but know I am still writing! In the mean time, if you're a fan of We'll Make It Through the Night you might enjoy some of my original stuff. I only posted my current project (Code Meteor) as well as a few poems, but I'm pretty sure it's worth a look at my Fiction Press account: http://www.fictionpress.com/~krokador Kro I'm from Québec Canada. Female, just in case you'd be wondering. (First language is french, hehe). I'm almost 24 now and hoping I could go back to being 19 lol. Yeah yeah, I'm shutting up about it, I know I'm not that old. I have the most amazing girlfriend who likes a lot of the shows I like. I'm not going to bore you with details, but she did get me into Castle, so if you'd like me to write fanfic about any particular fandom, run it by her, she might convince me to watch the shows/play the games >_> lol I'm a lazy person, seriously. Silly, dorky, cute, I love making the lamest puns just to get them weird looks from people. And apparently, I'm very sweet. My nickname is Krash (your clumsiness truly), I'm almost 5'7" and quite the tomboy. But as I said earlier, I'm taken School stuff: I recently got out of college with a DEC (québec's school system, I'm not even going to bother explaining) in computer programming. So yeah, I'm one of those geeks that can make computers do all sorts of things. My speciality is website programming though (and fave language is php, yay!) Music: I love stuff thats got electric guitar in it. Doesn't have to be metal although that seems to be my favorite along with hard rock. The lyrics/riffs/hooks have to hook me otherwise a song will pass as blah. I'm really picky, and can't stand pure Pop - unless its the backstreetboys or NSync, but that's only cuz of childhood memories, haha! (How did I ever manage to mention those 2 groups in here -.-) Don't even bother trying to make me listen to rap/hip-hop, either, unless it's Fort Minor (Mike Shinoda rocks!), and I hate Country. I'm also a sucker for video game music (mostly the Final Fantasy ones) and would kill to get my hands on a real copy of The Black Mages compilation, even though I downloaded it on the net. Battles themes rendered with electric guitar are just too nice. Fave bands: 3 Doors Down (love the latest album!), Adema, Breaking Benjamin, Crossfade, Default, Disciple, Evans Blue, Finger Eleven, FM Static, Flyleaf (although I can't figure out why - I tend to despise anything remotely religious/christian AND female lead singers...), Hell is For Heroes, Linkin Park (their old stuff was better though), Papa Roach (their most recent stuff rocks. Fave songs are Scars and Forever ), Rammstein, Red (Yet another christian band, argh!) Silent Civilian/Spineshank (same singer), Sum41, Social Code, Sonata Arctica, Stabilo, Thousand Foot Krutch, Three Days Grace, Trapt. I also like a few old school metal bands like In Flames, Stratovarius, Dream Theater, etc. You can also add Rise Against, Since October, 12 Stones, Bleeker Ridge, My Darkest Days, Shinedown, Rev Theory and many others to that list. Seriously? I have a last.fm account. That'll tell you everything I listen to :P My fave songs of all time: Books: ahem, I'm a fan of the Bourne Trilogy. I like the fantasy type of book too, but I can't smell a Harry Potter book in picture. I had to read the first one for school at some point and I just never could like it afterwards. The movies are alright though, but just cuz Emma Watson is hot! I liked Lord of the Ring, but I wouldn't read it again. I like dystopian stuff, recently read A Clockwork orange, and started out on Brand New World. It,s interesting, I swear! But heh, I'm a manga reader, seriously. Mangas: (Yes I need a section for that alone) Devil and Devil is by far my favorite manga. the story's funny and enthralling and I love the character development - the whole demon/angel/human thing. Slam Dunk comes second best, then Bleach, Berserk, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Rurouni Kenshin, MAR, Tsubasa, Buso Renkin, Get Backers. Then there's the beginning of Naruto, it was awesome, before the manga started being all about Sasgay. I'm a Shonen Jump subscriber and proud of it! I also possessed the Yugioh collection at some point, but I lost interest in it and gave it to my friend (yeah the whole thing) for Christmas cuz she wanted to buy 'em from me. Oh and of course, last but not least, Dragon Ball! (I'd go and watch the animes for most of those books at times, but I get tired of fillers quick, and the books just have that special charm) I also recently got into Slam Dunk. Damn that manga scores points with me! (read it all!) Also recently (well, a year ago) read GTO, and REAL is awesome, of and FMA. LOOOVED FMA! lol Movies: The Bourne Trilogy! Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children (omg such a good movie!), Spiderman (all of em), Top Secret, Homeward Bound (yeah I'm a sucker for my childhood movies), Lord of the Ring, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, George of the Jungle, Gladiator, Blade Runner, Super Mario Bros (not a good movie, but its got a sentimental value!). I also just recently bought Final fantasy : Spirits within. I guess I like animation and I guess that's it. Oh no wait. I love most of Adam Sandler's movies! (Just recently rewatched Happy gilmore and Billy Madison =D). Boondock Saints! Murphy TV Shows: I love anime, any kind seriously lol. I also love watching the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers early episode because it gives me such a good laugh. I loved season 1-6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (James Marsters = Hot. Alyson Hannigan = HOT! haha) and the whole Xena the Warrior Princess too (Renee O'Connor = .drool.) - and not cuz of the fight scenes which were rather crappy, but the whole story I just loved it. I totally despise reality TV, and basically will only turn it on when theres a good movie or there's a hockey game (Go HABS Go!). I now also watch How I Met Your Mother, White Collar, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Castle, One Tree Hill (guilty pleasure! haha), Sanctuary, Firefly, trying to finish Angel too. Way too many for my life to be balanced when I get into a TV show watching phase *shakes head* Video Games: Final Fantasy VI and VII were by far the best, as well as Tactics - and X wasn't that bad either. But I still love the rest of them. Breath of Fire is another cool rpg serie (see a pattern already?). Chrono Trigger is a masterpiece, I'm a sucker for NHL games once in a while, as well as any ken griffey jr's baseball game (they're cooler to play than MLB). I love Legend Of Zelda, and my favorite is by far Ocarina of Time. Dragon Warrior/Quest, and the original DW Monsters! Pokemon is a classic, but only the old ones! DDR is great and I want a wii :( Oh yeah, Metroid is such a nice side-scroller serie, why'd they have to turn it 3d? Haha and I gotta add to this that Guitar Hero 3 simply rocks. I love that game. I also gots a wii now and can't wait for Skyward Sword to come out! (Need to finish Wind Waker and Twilight Princess first, though!) I'm gonna get a Triforce Tattoo to celebrate my 24th birthday :) I doubt there's much more to say about me - seriously. But as I stated earlier, if you wanna get to know me, I'm pretty open to people IMing me (I'm krokador like, everywhere. Just look up that name on google, you'll know where I've been). Just mention you're from here if you wanna start talking weird otherwise I'll click 'block' cuz I'm that evil. Oh and I have a twitter =P | |||||||
