I had something really cool and intelligent sounding written here, and then I accidentally back-spaced and it got sucked up by the interwebz. Oivay.

Basic gist: I have gotten several PMs recently asking me very politely if I am dead or just lazy. I am writing this, therefore I am decidedly alive. I think this needs to be set straight, because I have recently encountered a game called Plants Vs. Zombies, and those zombies can most certainly write. (I am not one of them.) As for the lazy bit - in a word, yes, and in another, no. Mixture. My precious time has been taken up recently by scouting out scholarships, voice acting, extracurricular activities, my animation class, voice acting, the rest of school in general, and also deciding I should have enough spare time to practice my DDR skills. Again, mixture.

Key-points I would like to share:

-The stories that are listed as incomplete on my stories list are not and will not be abandoned, which leads into my second point:

-I'm planning on cleaning this space up. One-shots with similar themes - AKA 'omigawdilovesoandsopairingeeekwritewritewriteaboutitagainandagain' one-shots are going to be grouped. Crap stories I wrote when I was eleven are going to be deleted, or at least updated - I am looking at that atrocity of a Naruto/Harry Potter story that somehow has won the heart of at least eighty or so people - and I'm really planning on using this page to showcase my fanfiction writing more than show my progress as a writer. Because when I look at it, my OCD cleaning instincts kick in and I wonder why that moldy old Yu Yu Hakusho story is still up. Atrocity of a writing piece.

-That being said, everything deleted off this page will be moved to my Livejournal, where crappy fanfiction will be allowed to rot.

-The moment you've all been waiting for: story updates -
1. Unwritten - not abandoned. Will be updated by the end of this September.
2. Finding Heaven - in the process of being entirely rewritten for a short but - hopefully - entertaining story.
3. Upcoming stories - will not be posted until all other stories are finished and profile is cleaned up.

That all being said, despite my feeble attempts at claiming I really am busy sometimes, I am also, without a doubt, very lazy.

This is the page of La Editor - a username picked by said writer at the age of twelve. It's kind of flowery-kiddish. Which I think works for me. (I generally go by La, nice to meet you!) I've been writing on this website for six years, and I think it's sort of neat that I got wrapped into writing at age ten. I mean, I sure feel like I've come a long way. I fancy myself something of a wannabe ninja princess because I relate entirely too much to the character Yuffie Kisaragi - I'm a huge nerd and I'm planning on cosplaying her for Anime Expo 2010, as well as Oerba Dia Vanille - I'm increasingly finding myself enamoured with amateur voice acting, and I hold onto a lot of naive and optimistic ideals. I like it that way, though. I'm holding onto those.

So, I'm going to steal a phrase I find myself in love with that Pen Against Sword wrote: I think I've got the heart of a ten-year-old boy. (Pen, you are so cool forever and always I'm stealing that phrase because it hit home the second I read it.) That's reflecting in my writing, I think - I used to really be into the romance because I'm fascinated by relationships between people, but couldn't properly understand more complex relationships like that of sisters, sons and fathers, best friends, enemies. I have a lot of romance-oriented prose on this page, but I think I love a boy's aventure story the most out of anything. I read Huckleberry Finn and loved it: I wanted to crawl into the book and live on a river and kiss Huck's teeth. (...I have also been told I am a strange child.)

Moving on.

I have two beta-readers, and I love them to the moon and back: T. Costa and Pen Against Sword are both the most amazing betas and friends ever, because they are willing to put up with my terrible prose and lame jokes and sheer awful-ness, and their stuff is Much Better Than Anything You Will Find Here. Incoming Projects

1. Ocean in the Sky (FFVII)
Ocean in the Sky is a story I've been writing off and on for about a year. Yuffie and Vincent go on an adventure and Lots of Things Will Happen And Sometimes Life Sucks And Sometimes It Is Great. And that's all I'm going to say about that. This will be put up when I finish planning and writing out most of it, and when my current WIPs are finished.

2. Breaker Boy (FFVII)
Denzel takes his backpack and decides it is high time for a treasure hunt to find the riches Gaia is still full of - in one way or another, as the people he meets along the way help him discover. A coming of age story; a boy's adventure story, rolling along the river.

Finding Heaven (Naruto)
This is being rewritten. I had originally intended it to be very long with a drawn-out plot I now know I wouldn't be able to deliver: however. That plot is being translated to a real story that I'm tinkering with off and on, and I'll post updates on that as well. Otherwise, this is being rewritten and attended to, albeit slowly.

Unwritten (Naruto)
This is the main project at the moment. I sincerely apologize to everyone I've kept waiting.
