Please note that my author's name has changed from 'mirkwood-elf-2931' because all of the sudden it won't let me update my profile with it anymore...because it says 'mirkwood-elf-' has been taken...nevermind that mine actually had a number at the end...nevermind that I've had it since 2/24/03! However, all of my stories will still say they are by 'mirkwood-elf-2931' since that's what everyone knew me as. And if you read my Lord of the Rings fics, my character's name in it is Landailyn / Landy, which has now become my Pen Name, since it was the only thing I tried that wasn't taken.

Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since my zip disk was corrupted! sigh, I'll never get it fixed I guess. I just don't have the funding. I'm so sorry to those who waited and wanted to read the rest of my stories that aren't done. I hate leaving a story unfinished...it makes me so mad. But I can't finish them without all those chapters I'd already written most of. Sorry again.

November - 2005:
IMPORTANT! OMG, the zip disk with all my fanfics has been corrupted! And yes, I know it was stupid not to have backups anywhere, but sadly I didn't, and I could just kick myself for it, cause I may have just screwed myself out of being an author anymore or finishing any of my posted fics or the ones that were going to be posted soon, for all I have left now are the six fics on this profile. And I'm so sorry to all my readers, if in the end that's the case. So far, nothing has worked at all in getting any of it back, so I'm going to send it to a data recovery place soon. However, we may have to prepare for the worst, as my last four years of writing simply may be gone for good. But please, cross your fingers, everyone, and hope that the pros can help! Thank you! And please keep checking back for any updates on my disk's current state, and as soon as my files are back...if they're recovered at all, that is.
