First of all, I am damn lazy so don't expect quick and speedy updates. I also suffer from PWB (Perpetual Writer's Block) and possess a flighty muse, so that doesn't help things either. I'm actually more of a reader than a writer, but on rare occasions my muse hangs about for a while and I write a bit.

You may call me Duckie (or Lava, which is what I'm most often called, but I do prefer Duckie.). My age is a number between 2 and 22. I am of the female persuasion. I live in one of the states in the United States. I am Filipino. I am currently still in school.

I ship and read A LOT of pairings and stories because I'm pretty open to anything as long as it's well written. I've found that before I disliked a pairing, but after reading a particularly well written story featuring it my views changed. Most of what I read are Harry centric and Hermione centric. The pairings vary and I do read slash, but I don't read femmeslash. I very occasionally read stories from other fandoms, but I mostly stay within the Harry Potter universe.

My favorite OTP of all time is the Whomping Willow/Giant Squid. I know it's a strange pairing, but they are really cute together in Salix Narcissa by marginaliana and the story is worth reading.

Story Status

Manfred's Mustache Mayhem - Currently writing Chapter Five. So it's been a while. And it might be an even longer while before I put up the next chapter. I've decided that I'm going to reread the series in the hopes that it will jump-start my creative juices. School has started again and I'm involved in more extracurricular activites and AP classes this year, so I'm not sure when I'll find the time to do that.

A Slytherin in Our Midst - Discontinued. After I'm back on track and have a couple new chapters of MMM up, there's a very very very slight chance I might restart this story. With heavy editing and a plot overhaul, of course; what I have up now needs a lot of work. I've lost interest in Marauder Era stories (except for Hermione and/or Harry time travel ones) so don't get your hopes up. If you're interested in taking it up, by all means go ahead. But PM me first of course.

Ravenclaw's Heir (or something like that; I can't remember what it was called) - Discontinued and deleted. There is no chance this one will be coming back. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I wrote this piece of complete crap. If I ever write something as horrid as this, please proceed to flame me to my senses.
