Author has written 15 stories for Twilight. Truthfully, I am not here to post my stories up... I just wanted to have a screenname so that I could comment on everyone else's stories. I didn't have stories to post up when I first opened this account. Now I have 11. :) My credits include being the managing editor of my university's newspaper and over 20 articles in that newspaper. I've been published in two state-wide newspapers and a tourism magazine. I've currently accepted a Journalist-in-Residence position with an organization in my immediate area that I will begin in May after I graduate from college. This is exciting for me! I have been writing since I was seven...and editing since I was ten. I started up an elementary school newspaper called the "Tree Top News." We didn't have a printer or a copy editor... just our pencils and notebook paper... and our minds. It was a good time... My best friend Jaclyn remembers the Tree Top News. I kind of miss it... Ok... off topic... sorry guys... If you need someone to edit your Twilight stories feel free to drop me a message. I can't always promise that I'll say yes, but I can promise you that I am probably as hard an editor as Stephenie's... I promise. Actually, (please don't burn me at the stake for this) I have found like seven or eight mistakes within Twilight's pages... Just goes to show that I've read Twilight seven or eight times... blast it all... There's been a few inquiries about how, exactly, I thought up my "With Opened Eyes" series and it's premise. Especially the intricacies...Bella's blood being immune to venom... E and B both being half breeds in the story... Seamus... etc. Truthfully, I have always wished for Bella and Edward to be a little... more equal. After reading Eclipse, I've witnessed first hand that Bella is a brave, strong individual. She would argue with me-- tell me that the parts that I call brave were really just actions to keep Edward safe... Jacob alive... whatever... But I see this young woman who has faced loving a vampire, fighting off James, Alice and the prom (ugh to the prom), aging a year older than her vampire boyfriend... come on guys.. you know the rest... Bella is BRAVE. And her bravery should give her an even chance to be more than a Lois Lane. So, at my first chance, I did balance the scales... a little lopsided. Sorry about that guys. But I just thought of what would even everything out. What would give Bella the chance to make a place for herself in the Cullen family? That, coupled with my musings on the Twilight Lexicon about alternatives to Bella actually changing into a vampire, brought about the whole... venom thing. And I just ran with it. The whole immunity to venom was just a vehicle to get us there. Where Edward and Bella should be considered as equals. Unfortunately, (even in my mind) Bella seems to always be viewed as the weaker of the two... and so she is treated with kid gloves more often than Edward is.
