UPDATES 02-13-2012: It's becoming more and more clear to me that my priorities over the years have changed, and fanfiction writing is a thing of the past for me. I still enjoy reading fanfiction from time to time, but I really can't get myself to write and update on a regular basis. If I'm going to put my energies into writing, it's going to be something original. That being said, I truly appreciate all of the support from my readers over the years. I've met some amazing people on the various sites I've been a part of, and it's been a fantastic environment in which I could grow as a writer. I've received such wonderful feedback, ranging from constructive criticism to improve my technique to the heartfelt ones that make me realize--I need to put my writing out there. I will write an original work someday. (It's even on my bucket list, lol.) I have one completed but requires a great deal of editing... so I'm making it my goal to work on it regularly during my summer(s) off. Also, I will be taking down a few stories. To be honest, my reasons are selfish. I don't want anyone stealing my stories. I may eventually take down all of them, but I'm not sure. For now, it will just be a few. I regret feeling the need to do this, and I know it's not fair to the readers who favorited my stories. I'm sorry. I've been in those shoes--never being able to read again a story you fell in love with. I hate being the one to take that away from people. On that note, I would like to request that people do NOT copy and paste my stories, for personal use or otherwise. PLEASE ASK FOR PERMISSION FIRST. I MAY be open to someone who wants to save one of my stories for their own personal reading pleasure, especially if it's a longtime reviewer or someone I've connected with in the past on this site.
