The series begins with A New Hope: Dr. Hope Chandler is an emergency room doctor and when she has a free moment she studies the X-gene anomaly. Her work has been laughed out of medical journals for years until recently and who just happens to stumble upon the article? Now Charles Xavier is offering her a chance to continue her work at the Institute while acting as school nurse. Is this the chance Dr. Chandler has been waiting for? Probably, but a certain someone is not please with her work and the Master of Magnetism will do anything to stop her.
