Well, I suppose since my previous profile isn't relevant anymore (the fic it was lampooning has been taken down) it may be time for a real profile.

I shall shed a single perfect tear over its loss.

I write Dragon Age fic (and apparently, random Mass Effect fic too). And that's it. I don't see that changing, but I never thought I'd write fanfic either, ever, so who knows. Never say never and all that.

My current WIP is Terrible Beauty aka Blight and Peace. It's long and it's gonna get longer. Lots, lots longer.
Terrible Beauty is my attempt to write a Cousie fic that's more realistic than some of the other ones I've read. My ideas for the post-game era fall under this catagory, with there being definite fall-out from Cousie's decision to crown herself Queen.
For the events during the game, I want to try and experiment with other POVs to cover some of the sections that we've all read So Many Bloody Times. Elisara (my roguish Cousland of questionable morality) and Alistair will still have some chapters in there, but they won't be alone. Things like the Deep Roads through Oghren's eyes, learning a bit more about Anora's motivations through Erlina, things like that. Whether or not I pull this off successfully is up to the readers to decide... I can only hope to live up to my own expectations.

My other epic-fic claim to fame is The Last Beginning aka Epic Wynne. It started as Wynne's personal journal, detailing how she worked to assist Elisara to conceive the heir to Ferelden's throne, but it kind of devolved into her "regular" journal as well. The way I see it, she didn't have the time to keep up with two, regardless of her initial intentions. ;)
There are things about it I don't like, and parts where things got clunky. But I got a lot of positive encouragement from it, and it helped me un-rustify my writing enough that I felt comfortable to write more.
