I'm a published writer from Canada. I appreciate constructive criticism and any comments on characterization, plot, grammar/punctuation etc. I most enjoy reading and writing stories about Tim Shepard, Dallas Winston, Two-Bit Mathews and Steve Randle. I only review stories I really enjoy. Feel free to contact me if you'd like - I can be found at:
My Outsiders LiveJournal - Contains profiles of all the characters, a timeline of events for the book/movie, discussion of Outsiders fan fiction in general, character sketches of original characters and information on the actors from the movie - especially the very talented Glenn Withrow, who is awesome.
The Outsiders Fan Fiction Writing Board - A message board to talk about the canon characters, original characters, writing technique and style, point of view, plot issues, Mary Sues, how to avoid writing bad fic, reviewing etc. There is also info about the TV series, episode downloads, as well as special forums for Stories and Bad Fic.

Universal Mary Sue Litmus Test A Mary Sue test - fill out sections 1, 3 & 5. If your character is a Mary Sue, then take out things you ticked off in Sections 1 & 3, or add things from section 5. This is a great way to "de-Sue" a character.
You Know You're Reading/Writing A Bad Fic (Or Not-So-Good Fic) When... was compiled by Outsiders fan fiction readers and lists the things they see when reading that turn them off the story. If you want more reviews, read this list and try and avoid as many things as possible listed there.
Last but not least, visit NOADS. They are the best reviewers in this fandom and despite the harsh reality of their critiques, they always have excellent things to say about the pitfalls of fan fiction.

My Fan Fiction
If you've never read my fan fiction before, all of my stories exist in the same universe and are attached to each other in some way. So newbies, try and go in this order to avoid confusion and spoilers:
Middle Ground (April to May 1966)
Debut (May 1966)
Triangle (The Return of the King, One Shot) (April to June 1966)
Initiation (August 1966)
Fight or Flight (September 1966)
A Day In The Life (October 1966)
A Dark and Stormy Night (October 1967) Will be reposted soon
Holding Back The Years (1975)
Missed Opportunities (occurs from Middle Ground to Holding Back The Years)
The Return of the King and One Shot are one-shots that came out of Triangle, and you'll be prompted to read them as you read through Triangle. Initiation and A Day In The Life are also one-shots that feature a character from Triangle. Holding Back The Years is set in 1975 and isn't really a sequel to Triangle, although it does feature characters from that story. It occurs concurrently with Artemis Rex's Through The Glass Darkly, a series of one-shots derived from Holding Back The Years.
I believe my best stories are Triangle and Holding Back The Years. Judging from the response, so do many people here - thanks for all the kind words, folks.
