12/25/08 - Chapter 4 of CiS is almost done. Not gonna lie, it's been giving me trouble, on numerous, numerous levels. . Though, it's pushing at 1700 words. I said I wouldn't make a chapter that big again, but I can't help it. It just happens. Hope it makes up for the delay.

12/4/08 - Thanks to the people that sent me emails to update(JenKonoha! You made me smile!). They do help and refuel me write for a story. Right now I'm working on Comfort in Surreality. Almost freaking down with it. So close! But I'm heading to Mexico Saturday, so it'll have to wait till I get back to get posted. But it'll be out before december ends. That I can assure. I gotta get more consist, I know how annoying it is to be waiting for a story to be updated. I'm really sorry!

11/3/08 - Alright, life is winding down and getting into a smooth routine. I should be able to update a bit more frequently. Both posted stories are being worked on. Hopefully there are still people out there who care, :) Regardless! The chapters are on their way.

8/2/08 - Wow, I feel super bad. A whole month without updates! Why dose procrastination have to be my concrete flaw? Why couldn't I be a lying thief and get things done? Anyway. The next chapter for Comfort in Surreality should be coining out soon. It's pushing 16,000 words, people. Yeah. My longest chapter ever. If I didn't have a whole segment thing with the first few chapters I would of broke it up. But alas. Well I hope it's ridiculous length makes up for the wait.

Comfort in Surreality

“After a series of chance encounters, and one of Kisame’s more capricious decisions, a pink haired girl is the newest tool at the Akatsuki compound. With Hidan performing bloody rituals in the backyard, Itachi being… well, Itachi, Zetsu giving mixed messages and Sasori commenting that she’d make a great doll, Kisame is finally considered normal. Unfortunately, he’s also getting attached to the normality … or is it the girl?”

This fic is more light hearted than Ways and Means, and should have more humor.

Also, it's semi A/U. I started the story back when the manga revealed very little about Akatsuki, so it won't be following the canon on that. Not completely, anyway. I've twisted canon facts to suit the plot I have in mind, and thrown in my own hooha.

The first few chapters go in segments and then go into a steady time line. They also deal with Sakura more than Kisame. Her grow and development and all that. Anyway, I really love writing Kisame's character (the way I envision him, anyway).

Chapter 2 is up - This chapter mostly focused on Sakura, on her growth. You know how Sakura vows to change herself, and doesn’t actually do it till the time skip (even then Yamato is always pulling her out of danger)? Well, in this fic she commits to changing herself after her little epiphany in the Forest of Death. Awesome opossum?

I just intend for her to be more mature and be more capable than Kishimoto makes her out to be. I’m not making her super women, but making her utilize the abilities Kishimoto himself has given her (he frustrates me to no end, giving Sakura strength and then having her get knocked out or watch from the sidelines). So there you go.

Chapter 3 - Uploaded it! Lots of action and lots of Kisame! This is a beast of a chapter around 18000 words. Yeah, that's not gonna happen again. I can only hope you guys like it!

Ways and Means

"The technological advances of her planet were renowned throughout the universe, Frieza himself was their greatest ally. For those reasons, a five year war with the Saiyans was not so arduous. So now, how exactly did Bulma end up married to their Prince?"

This fic is way to intense for it's own good. Geez, why do Bulma and Vegeta have to be so damn explosive? Well, I'm addicted to love/hate relationships. However, I really have to get myself in this certain mindset to write for those emotional scenes. I have a bunch of plot, twists and turns set up for this, so I refuse to EVER abandon this. Got a notebook chalk full of everything that will happen to these two kiddos. Though maybe for my first fic I should of just posted a oneshot... Well, hope you people enjoy the product of my toils. ;p

Chapter 6 is up - Gah, this chapter was a bitch and I don't even know why. Vegeta just gave me so much trouble. I'm actually kinda nervous about it, but I hope you guys like it. Chapter seven is on it's way.

By the way, I'm sorry for any confusion on the plot so far. Everyone just has to remember that Vegeta and Bulma have very different perspectives on the war, and the past in general. Fear not! All will be revealed in due time. The lovin' is also on it's way. Just stay with me, people.
