Author has written 38 stories for Crescent Moon, Naruto, Ouran High School Host Club, Stardust, Teen Titans, X-Men: The Movie, Mulan, and Final Fantasy VII. Name: Miranda! (but I prefer Panda.) Age: 18 -- I'M LEGAL, BABEH! I can buy my own spray paint and sharpies and everything! So ha! Finally, an artist who can buy her own art supplies! XD So this is me totally revamping my bio, because the other one was SOOO boring...and stupid. I like old romance movies, 30s detective films are great, too, and really any movie before the 90s that isn't horror. I'm very selective about the horror movies I watch (I'm a pansy, you see, and I like sleeping at night.) However, Repo! The Genetic Opera is in fact my favorite movie (I mean, c'mon, Graverobber--o bby!--who doesn't want him?) I like anime/manga, but to be truthful, I'm more of a comics person (MARVEL FTW!) nowadays (but every rule has its exception: Barajou no Kiss? Best Thing EVAR! Gurren Lagann, it made me cry, but it was good, too. FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST FTW! Seasons 1-3 of Inuyasha, Chrono Crusade, Cardcaptor Sakura, Tusbasa Chronicles--CLAMP is my hero.) In general, though, I like games. Videogames make me happy: Left4Dead and Centipede are the greatest stress relievers the world has ever known. PS1 games are boss, despite the people sometimes resembling poorly designed legos, PS2 games are awesome because YAY! voices! Xbox 360 is boss, just bottom line there. I own a PSP, DS Lite, GameBoy Pocket, PS1, and a PS2. I'm in love with all Final Fantasy (except XI and XIV, because MMORPGs do not a Final Fantasy make), IX is my favorite followed closely by VII and all its various sequels and prequels (I own them ALL! HAHAHAHAHAHA! The original game took me five years to get a hold of!) My least favorite is X (and its sequel), because if we're all honest with ourselves, Tidus is a pansy, Yuna is a masochistic idiot, and the only reason we played it was because of Auron and Rikku (but not because they should end up together, because Rikku should be with Gippaul). I do enjoy Kingdom Hearts (although, I will not lie, I have not beaten Chain of Memories yet, nor have I been able to play ReCoded), however, my favorite pairing for that game is Squall and Yuffie (Kairi is so goodie-two-shoes, and Sora is so friggin' cute, but he never gets manly enough for me). Fullmetal Alchemist is my life, the games are heartbreaking, and yet I play them anyway, knowing that by the end of it I will be swimming in a bucket of tears. I'm in love with voice actors, but who isn't these days? Vic Mignogna is my soulmate, just saying. I do like cosplaying (STEAMPUNK FTW! because it's not just a fashion statement, it's a way of life). I'm a Toy Soldier (Dr. Steele, if your interested), a Risembool Ranger, a member of the Miniskirt Army (don't tell Vic!), and a proud follower of Penny Arcade, Girl Genius (if you haven't read it, you're dead to me), xkcd, and Ami-chan (amiarmy, it used to be Cordeval). On a side note: if you or someone you know has ever seen an 80s animated movie, narrated by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, called Ketchup Vampires--we need to talk because we should be friends. Best friends. Yes. James Darren, Sandra Dee, Bobby Darin, John Gavin, Cliff Roberston, Kim Novak, and Rod Taylor are my favroite old school actors (and singers, in the cases of both James Darren and Bobby Darin). Gidget (1959) is the greatest teeny bopper surf film of its time. Molly Ringwald and John Cryer in Pretty in Pink is wonderful. St. Elmo's Fire is also spectacular, as is (completely irrelevant to either actor) Some Kind of Wonderful. (Movies are boss, can you really blame me?) I'm have eclectic movie tastes, which are all over the charts. I love musicals (if you even breathe the words Highschool Musical I will curse your crops and future generations for life!): Xanadu, Chicago, Repo!, Grease (1 and 2), any and all classic Disney films (except Fox and the Hound and Bambi, those make me cry) all have excellent soundtracks. I love trance, rave, house, techno, and dubstep (the backbeat is better than taking drugs), and the 90s were pretty awesome music-wise. Anything from late 40s to late 90s, if I haven't heard, I'll probably enjoy. Present day music is sort of crap, unless your like Abney Park, where you may live in the present, but your music is Victorian age (which is awesome!). Writing-wise: I like writing angst (but I'd like everyone to know that I'm actually very happy. XD), and romance, and hurt/comfort. I can write tragedy, but I don't like sad endings, I CANNOT write humor for love nor money, although I have never actually made a real attempt at it. I could write lemons if I wanted too, but I like to think that I don't need them to have a good story. I make a lot of typos because I'm in a hurry to post it, and I'll probably go back one day and fix them all. I'd like a beta, but I won't use them (like I said, I'm in a rush to update when I actually start writing). I'm a pretty good beta, but I'm not good with long chapters or long stories--I just don't have that much time. I like reading angsty romance stories, although I'm a stickler for pairing, chararacterization, and dialogue. If the dialogue is wrong for a character I'm not going to read it. On a last note before I shut up about myself: I love making friends! So you should totally PM me or email me or something (Just make sure, if you email me or message me on msn, that you explain that you're from fanfiction, because otherwise I'll think your some creepy stalker and block you.) Updates: 06/20/11 At the end of August, I should warn you all, I'm beginning my first semester at college (YAYSIES! for me. They gave me my pretty new MacBook: his name is Kuja, btw.) I'm pretty excited about it, and hopefully I'll have finished Perhaps Not Her Finest Moment, which I really want to finish, and maybe an X-Men Ryro or Rogan fic along the way too by the time I get shipped out of state (crazy stuff happens when you cross state lines, ya know?). Prodigal (ChapterStory) Ryro (Romance/Angst) (X-Men the Movie): Summary- Taken to the Brotherhood's base, Rogue meets up with Pyro yet again--detours that have been taken in life, Magneto's plans, the cure for the Cure, and all of the above lead Pyro to question whether or not the Brotherhood is even fighting for a cause anymore, and what does Magneto want wit Rogue when all she is now is a traitor to the Mutant Race? Wrong Way(One-shot, maybe?) Ryro (Drama/Angst) (X-Men the Movie): Summary- She wants her powers back, that's all she wants. She needs the rush, she needs to feel whole again, but the Cure is permanent--or is it? When Callisto, the new leader of the Brotherhood due to Magneto's incarceration and her overthrowal of Pyro, comes to her and tells of the Cure for the Cure, will she agree to the terms? And when Pyro comes across her, he can only question her motives and ask her if this is really the right way of going about making things better for herself? Too many times, despite their differing paths of life, they are thrown together--sometimes as allies sometimes as enemies. But they can never seem to completely erase their past together. Times Are Changing -- This is going to be worked on till my brains fall out because I like this plotline, I adore it as conceited as that sounds, I do.
