Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter, StarTrek: The Next Generation, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. Hi, I'm MissMelysse. About Me: In real life, the stage and the page have always competed for my attention. Currently, you can read my work in the online magazine All Things Girl, and the erotic lit-zine Pink Nighties. I spent several years as a member of the now-defunct Dallas branch of ComedySportz (the interactive improvisational experience), and now I feed the acting bug as a voice actor for Between the Lines Studios, the Astral Audio Experience, and 19 Nocturne Blvd. I'm also part of the writing staff for two of the BtL productions: Angel Between the Lines (currently in production) and Firefly Between the Lines (coming soon). I'm working on science-fiction/comedy novel (think Christopher Moore x Douglas Adams, but with a female sensibility), and a collection of original short stories. My short story "Chai," which was published in the first issue of Pink Nighties, was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. When I'm not writing, acting, or singing, I work with the Shelter-2-Rescue Coalition, helping to re-home shelter dogs. About My Stories: Arabesque (Snape/OFC) is in progress, and incorporates several of the one-shots I've already written in my alternative version of the Potter-verse. Color My World (Geordi La Forge/OFC) is also still in progress, and was originally started as part of the FanFic 100 project on LiveJournal. I've left the project, but am continuing the story. Crush (Data/OFC came about because of a one-shot I wrote that demanded backstory. It's also still in progress. Because I write for a living, and use fanfic as a sort of open writing practice, I don't update terribly often. I do have a general plan for each story in my head, really. | |||||||||||
