About Me:
I am Kenzie (short for Mackenzie, which for me is a girl is a girls name, unlike Mack) I am 16 and live in England. I've always liked making up stories. When I was in nursery they had to have a talk with my mum because I wasn't doing "representational drawings" -I was too interested in playing pretend! But I've only just started writing in the last year and a half or so, since I discovered fanfic really. Ya see, I had many ideas and many beginnings, but I just didn't have the dedication. But with fanfic, I've actually managed to finish stories! Ok, so I don't update some as much as I should, but that I do at all really is an achivement!
I'd love to be an author when I'm older, but then I'd also like to be a journalist, or do something (anything) in the film industry. I'd especially like to be a writer (hehe) but I'd also love to be someone who decides on the soundtracks of films. I don't know if you can do that but... I'd like to! Whenever I hear songs I see a scene in my head. In fact, that's how many of my stories has got started, from listening to a song!
Fave things in life:
Ben and Jerry's ice-cream, those men are geniuses! (Is that how you spell it?) Favourite flavour is Half Baked. Duh.
Books: The Sweep/Wicca Series, the Laurell K Hamilton ones, The Sisterhood of The travelling Pants, Northern Lights (not really the other 2) The Narnia Chronicles (all of them- except the Horse and His Boy) Noughts and Crosses, The Old Kingdom Trilogy, The Wind on Fire Trilogy, Bean Trees and Pigs in Heaven, The Tillerman series, Jane Eyre, Rosenmancer Hall, I might add more later...
Films: Dirty Dancing, Moulin Rouge, Labyrinth, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Roman Holiday, Down To You, Spirited Away, Lord of the Rings, Cruel Intentions, all the Disney ones basically, TheSecret of NIMH, American Tail 1+2, Anastacia, A Cinderella Story, Bend It Like Beckham, Ocean's Eleven, Romeo and Juliet, Meet Me in St Louis, The Last Unicorn, Kal Ho Na Ho, A Walk To Remember, Whatever It Takes, The Notebook, again loads that I can't remember at this time.
T.V: ER is my favourite. It's just so fantabulous. It's the only thing that can actually make me cry (apart from leaving school, which got me 4 times) and if you go for the last episode of season 12, I cried twice so ya know! But it's brilliant and mmmm Ray "Doc Rock" Barnett, my perfect guy, shame he's not real! Lol. I also like Smallvile, great for watching all in one go (I've done it) and in a kind of you-don't-need-to-watch-all-that-carefully-way! I also loved Shipwrecked 2006 (go Tigers) and I'm looking forward to 2007! But, apart from that, all of which are over (or in Smallville's case I'm waiting for the dvd) until next year, so I don't actually watch any t.v. wierd huh?
