Stories (In order of time written):

The Silver Rose: This fic was first posted by on March 2003 and was inspired by Aubrey (a vampire from from Amelia Atwater-Rhodes "In the Forests of the Night" and "Demon in My View"). The story focuses on Aisha who falls for the still human and innocent Aubrey. It is all done through her POV and deals with the loss of her sense of self and independence. I pretty much got sidetracked with another fic and by the time I wanted to work on this one I had no idea what I wanted to do with it. I may rewrite since I'm not very happy with it now that I read it after all these years but we'll see. I listened to a lot of Middle Eastern music for this one. Also, the Marcus Viana soundtrack from El Clon was playing in the background most of the time. Really early work so it's not my best.

Cry of the Wolf: Another fic based on an Amelia Atwater Rhodes series (Kiesha'ra), I began writing this a little bit before Falcondance (the 3rd in the series) was published which was around 2004 (I think). I was pretty happy the way this was going since I had a lot of freedom with the characters but by the time the 4th book (Wolfcry) came out I realized that I was too attached to the story. So basically I took it further and made it into something that was entirely my own. There was a lot of instrumental music for this one but when I started listening to Hagalaz Runedance, the story began to veer off. I guess I can blame the music for the change in inspiration. Basically began to get really obsessed with Vikings and such... which leads me to the Great Eric Northman from the SVM series =D

Carla: One-shot story that focuses on Carla, the girlfriend of Gervaise, Sherriff of Area 4, in the Southern Vampire Series. Thanks to a LOT of free time at work I've had the opportunity to develop this little side story. I had several plans on where to take this but finally settled for the simplest one. After days of thinking over it, I finally sat down and wrote it and in my haste I probably made the ending a bit too sappy for my taste. Good thing is that it has helped me jump start my writing and now I'm getting back on track with this whole fan fiction thing. If all goes well I have a more in-depth background story for her since I love expanding small characters. Music I listened to: Before the Dawn by Evanescence, Into Dust by Mazzy Starr

The Void: Another Southern Vampire Mysteries story. This one just randomly came to mind (at work also) and as soon as I got home I set out to write it and post it the same day. There is so much good Eric/Sookie stuff posted here but felt it was safe to explore a Cursed Eric POV because it was a different angle I had not seen explored yet. Completed! Music: "Winter (What We Never Were After All)" by Múm, "What Do You Go Home To" By Explosions in the Sky, Lover's Dream by Anna Ternheim, "Surprice Ice" by Kings of Convenience, "Sea Out" by the Guillemots, and my playlist is basically over 100 songs so there you go...

Shame: A Bill and Lorena backstory that takes place in the early 1920's in Seattle. This one just focuses on the last days of their relationship and Bill's struggle to free himself from her. Music: "Rose" by A Perfect Circle, "Shame" by Stabbing Westward, and a lot of of others from the same/similar artists basically.

The Reaper: Eric turns Pam into a vampire during her nightly escapades. Very spur of the moment fic since I never thought I'd go through and write it. Music: A lot of music from Vas (The Reaper and the Flowers), Qntal, and Estampie (Summerwunne, Palästinalied)

Pieces of Sky: Bill's growing distance allows for fantasies of Eric to invade her mind. It's actually three one-shots I had planned to do seperately but discovered they worked better as a whole. Title inspired by Beth Orton's song, Pieces of Sky. Other Music: My Invitation, by Sarah Slean. Sigur Ros, Thom Yorke, Mazzy Star.

A little tiny bit about me:
As with many other writers here and everywhere else, music is a BIG inspiration for me and a must when I am in writing mode. I've noticed I can lose inspiration easily on a story but I think I got that under control now so don't expect any big disappointments.

Favorites to read: Harry Potter(Sirius, Tonks, Lupin, Snape, Lily etc...), Doctor Who (9, 10, 11, Amy, Rory, River ) , True Blood/SVM (Eric, Godric, Pam, Jessica, Sookie, Bill), Ugly Betty (Daniel, Betty which for some strange reason I like reading about though I only saw parts of the last season)
